Well I was 22 days without tobacco until yesterday. My buddy had some cigars he offered me. Initially I said no but he lit up and it smelled great. I ended up having one and taking a few more with me. Just last week I gave away 3 packs of cigarettes because I'm sure I don't need them anymore. I have no desire for a cigarette. I do have those cigars, though no craving or desire for one thus far. Not sure if I broke my no smoking or not, or if I should be concerned. I never had cigars much, maybe a few a year at most so I think it might just be a once in a while thing for me. Been happily vaping all day and don't want a cigar or cigarette.

I went to a party over the weekend (I'm 35, married with 2 kids, so I don't party much anymore) and had pretty much accepted the fact that since I was going to get drunk and be around lots of smokers, I was going to try one for the first time in 7 weeks and I did.

The first time, I just took one drag off a female friend's Parliament and was like "Yep, still tastes damn good...". An hour later I bummed one -- it was really awful, just tasted like fire and ash, but I soldiered through it and afterwards mentioned to the people I was with how nasty it now tasted. A few hours later (somewhere around 2 AM) I took another one and it was so awful I had to toss it before it was halfway done.

So, in the end I'm glad I did it. I didn't realize until this weekend that I was actually completely done with analogs, but having tried them and hated it (really, really hated it), I know I'll never break down and go back to 'logs. I think I am past a sort of point of no return, where it would be easier to quit vaping than to re-start smoking.

I totally agree. And I am only 2 weeks in (almost). After a little under a week in I had 1 analog, and could not finish it. It made me sick to my stomach, lightheaded and closed up my lungs immediately! I was glad that I tried analogs again because it just made me realize how much I hate them. :)

I haven't had a cigar in years. I used to smoke cigars on cruises when one of my buddies went. He was a cigar nut & would bring some great cigars & would buy real cubans on the cruise & we'd smoke them.

I don't think an occasional cigar is gonna set you back, if you don't do it often. Just stay away from the cigarettes. But, doggone it, you made me "hungry" for a cigar!

I occasionally have a cigar. I have not had one since I started vaping, but If the mood called for it I would light one up. In the past I had maybe 6 a year if that. Something about a good cigar that you just cant find in a vape. However if I was totally against it I would just vape want2vape's Blondie as they hit that cigar flavor right on the head.

I'd say it's an act of masochism to deprive one's self of the luxury and satisfaction of a good cigar once in awhile... if you've been one to enjoy the leaf in the past. What could be the harm of nursing a rich, oily maduro or a delicate Conneticuit Shade every few months or so. Don't fret it, dude. Enjoy life... in moderation.
