Why do ecig mfg/suppliers seem so resistant to cigars or ecigs with brown wrappers?

I'm an ex-pipe-smoker too, and I still have my pipe collection. Good point about the "what ARE you inhaling" question. The funny thing is that in many parts of California it's MUCH more socially acceptable to be inhaling funny stuff than smoking tobacco.

In any case, I don't care how people see it, I flaunt my metallic vaporizers, but if I wanted a cigar look, I'd just wrap a strip of wood grain contact paper around the battery/device. You could make it look almost perfect. Or if you want to go further, use actual adhesive wood veneer that looks like leaf wrapper. Or even unwrap a cheap cigar and use the wrapper ;-)

As to a pipe simulation, take a look at the wood burl shell for the Vmod (and coming soon, for the Vmod XL). You can hold these bottom-feeders so they look very much like a pipe to anyone but a pipe-connoisseur up close.

It's a secret!

Hahaha Yeah, I suspect location might have much to do with our perspectives. Here in NC, smoking doesn't typically invite as much negativity as I'm sure it does in other parts of the country.
