I got my MVP. This thing is cool! thanks for the advice, I think I made the right move.
the button is stiff, but after 200 cycles it seems to be loosening up a tad, or I'm getting used to it. FWIW I have VERY strong hands (mechanic by trade)
I was thinking of lightly clamping it down for a day or so to see if it loosens up

Just to be a clear, a vape-while-you-charge device probably wouldn't put much stress on your computer's power system. On the other hand, a true passthrough unmediated by any battery would potentially stress the system unduly.

Btw, if you order directly from taiwan, you can often find replacement batteries for your laptops at 1/4 the price. Also, usb connections are getting an overhaul to support 10X the power. They will likely be the plugins of the future for all devices.
