I received my Titan Tornado-T atomizers and cartridges today from TW and have been trying one out all evening. My initial impression of it is only ‘fair.’ My usual equipment consists of a number of regular and mega Titan Tornado batteries, as well as several regular and mega 510’s. My atomizers are a mixture of regular and LR 510’s. I vape Dekang Camel and USA Mix VG using everything from 0mg to 48mg, the latter coming from MyFreedomSmokes. The 36mg seems to be my preferred liquid. I was dissatisfied with the standard cartridges and turned to dripping. I get very thick vapor production from all my batteries and atomizers and a good pleasant kick from the 36 and 48. But, obviously constant dripping can become very inconvenient. So, I thought that I would give the tank system a try. So far, I am not really that impressed. The vapor production is noticeably less and there doesn’t seem to be much of a kick, even though I filled it with 36mg liquid. It seems to match exactly what I got with the ‘cartomizers’, which I also experimented with and then went back to dripping. I guess both would be suitable for circumstances where constant dripping is not possible, such as driving, for example. So far, nothing I have tried gives me the vapor production and feeling of satisfaction that I get from simple dripping, particularly when I am relaxing in front of the TV and have time to do it. I will be interested in the opinions of others once they have a chance to try out this new system.

Mine is fully pushed down. I use VG which is quite thick. That is probably why I was having trouble with the cartridges and ended up in the 'drip' mode, which really works A+. I just refilled with 48mg today and diluted it with two or three drops of distilled water that I produced myself by pouring the steam condensation from the cover of a sauce pan of boiling water. I still seem to get that 'dry' feel after a few hits, the vapor is not as thick or heavy, and the kick does not approach what dripping provides. I guess it's a trade off for the convenience of not have to constantly drip. I will keep fiddling with it.

Interesting. I'm also using VG, (Herculian) but get more vapor and throat hit than any of my 510's. (maybe not fair - equal to my best 510) From my previous experience with zero fill mods of 510 carts, I've found that a small amount of rotation can 'seat' the atty into the silicon plug a bit better. I usually rotate about an 8th of a turn, then reverse to the original position. That would open the slits in the silicon plug a bit. Maybe that would work.

Am on my 2nd ego-tank atty and also find it very 'meh.'

Using 30vg / 70pg juice and find the vape is often dry, whispy and airy and there really is not that much to it.

Am ordering reg and lr 501 attys so I can drip at home. Tank carts and attys will be used only when I leave the house.

They really are not all that.

Don't believe the hype.

I find it interesting that thus far, you are the only one with all these issues (on this forum). I don't mean to say that you are necessarily wrong, just that maybe its too soon to tell if its "all that" or just "hype"

Then you just need to read aruond more. There are several other threads on this pv.

You will find several posters with the exact same opinions as I (vape not that good, runs through too much juice for what you get from it, repeated burnt gacky taste etc.) You will find a cpl whom also say the tank attys have not replaced their at home dripping set up by a long chalk and they will only use the tank carts for when out of the house which is the same for me.

I have no time to quote names or post links, so happy surfing! :2cool:

I've had the tank system for 3 days so far and I said I'd make a comment on here so I will. I'm overall pleased with the way it's been working. It hasn't leaked on me at all and honestly I don't think I'm using more juice per day than I used to and I'm vaping just as much. The fact that I can get a pretty consistent hit over and over until it's literally dry I think is worth it. So you might need to take a primer puff once in a while (much easier than topping off carts/cartos or dripping while mobile). The tanks seem to me to like thinner juice but I have vaped 100% vg with them and still weren't bad.

All in all I think if you don't like messing with carts or drive alot and don't feel like dripping and driving I think you should atleast try it out. Flavor isn't up to par with lr510 or 306 but still has good flavor and the fact that it's so easy to use makes up for the slight lose in flavor. I'm not saying this is perfect, but it's surely a great step towards making e cigs better and easier for people that want less hassle.

Agreed. Good for mobile but not as good as dripping.

I think it is neccesary to put this opinion out there for newb potential buers who may be caught up in the hype and end up dissapointd an having to bu extra attys - as is my case :(

BECAUSE - whereas if they buy a normal ego kit (cheaper) they can have mobility (carts / cartos / cart mods / XL cartos etc) AND dripping just with their basic starter kit.

Whereas if they purchase the Ego-t if they want the xperience of dripping, they will have to order EXTRA attys as you cannot drip on the ego-t attys.

My tuppence.

From what I can figure from the other threads of the E-Tank reviews is that the satisfied vapors seem to be using PG liquids with less complaints; AS the same for me, I have had my E-Tank atty/Tanks for about 4 days now and very satisfied with it; But as I stated before I Use all PG liquids (mostly clear). Check the other reveiws in this forum I think on page 1 or 2. I'm not sure. All said It's definitly a step in the right direction for Hassle-Free vaping IMO.

I'm happy with the vape, hit, and flavor.

The Tank is huge, lasts plenty long. Super easy refill. No mess. Can see how much is left.

After 1.5 years of vaping, the old refill mess and leaks were getting old, pain in the ....
The Tank changed all that.

The Tank is awesome. Period.

I've been using the tank for a couple of days. I use 70/30 pg/vg, I really like the convenience, the easy filling (hate using syringes on the mega cartos), and I get reasonable vapor. It hasn't leaked on me at all. But I am not happy with the flavor. The flavor just isn't there like it is when I drip and I get a burnt taste at least half the time. I tried all the tricks I read on this forum to get rid of the burnt taste...twisting, long slow drags, primer puffs etc. Nothing has helped. I like the T for convenience but as for taste, not very much.

Have to say I am happier with my tanks now. It was mainly the juices I had that were the cause of the whispy vapor and poor taste. With better juices, there is a big improvement. Still not as good as dripping for when you want that really full hit, but I'd say the tanks give about 10 - 15% stronger flavor compared to the xl cartos with same juice (tho i prefer the looser draw of the carto), so there you go - it was my cheapo juices that were the problemo!
