I think it would be best to keep O'Reilly away from this

That makes no sense what so ever. He is the most watched news commentator in the country with a huge following. You may not like his direct, challenging demeanor but he is a against "nanny-state" regulations. The liberal politicians who want vaping banned are scared of O'Reilly. It would lend more weight to our position with the larger non-vaping public if O'Reilly framed the issue correctly as one more "nanny-state" prohibition that is not needed.

Of course, if you are a supporter of the far left liberal politicians calling for vaping to be banned, then I understand your concern.

I wouldn't mind either- not a member
If someone who sees this is a member of please cut and paste his dissertation. I'm sure it's fairly lengthy and entertaining

Please do not post this, as it is copyrighted material, and therefore not permitted to be posted beyond a paragraph or so.

Thanks!

Granted, a firebrand from either side of the political spectrum might have a big megaphone. We do need all the help we can get.

But on balance, I'd rather see a media-savvy MD, like this guy - Dr. Joel Nitzkin of R Street:

Response to ANR fact sheet: Electronic cigarettes and secondary aerosol | R Street Institute | Free Markets. Real Solutions.

The sad thing is that people like fmr. US Surgeon Gen'l Dr. Carmona and some other high-profile folks are now on the boards of BV co.s, and may end up being our effective opponents in many contexts. This is a very damaging result of the proposed FDA rules that gets little attention from vapers.

We need both. A Bill O'Reilly combined with a Dr Siegel/Bill Godshaw so their academic study and long advocacy could be more widely seen. We already have John Stossel and Greg Gutfeld in our corner, but their reach is not nearly as large as O'Reilly's.

I would like to see at least ONE national liberal news media personality come out in favor of vaping. Considering that several liberal celebrities are vaping openly I don't understand how they are getting no support from their liberal pals in the news arena. How is it that these liberal news personalities can be for relaxing/legalizing all sorts of past negative behavior but are silent or negative on vaping.
