Just for the fun of it I measured the output voltage of my batts.... 3.6 to 3.7V then my USB passthrough .... 5V ???

Does that mean an USB PT is basically a "high-voltage" solution?

High voltage is usually about 6v. The passthrough is about 1/2 way between low & high.

I have personally noticed that my E-Cigs do seem to hit better when connected to the passthrough and I have had others say that it is the same for them. I think a big part of it is the make, model, and manufacturer of the E-Cig that dictates how a passthrough will perform at least that's what I have gathered from looking into it.

If you're getting a noticeable increase that is acceptable to you from 3.7 to 5v, then the next logical step is to consider a 6v PV. (IMO)

The thing that irks me about passthroughs is, the vendors do not show much info on them. I want to know if it uses a battery, first of all, because I want 5 volts instead of 3.7 volts.

Max....I believe all of your high voltage passthroughs(which are few and far in-between),have no in-line batteries...Best suggestion before you buy is contact the supplier with your questions!The Wiz!

hmmm I was under the impression that only the 510 passthrough had an inline battery?
