Any help would be enormously appreciated....

(11 questions)

1) How long do you vape b4 putting your appliance down (approx mins/second) and how long are you finding yourself able to in between vaping 'sessions'(don't know what to call this)?

2) How long should 1 new cartomizer last?

3) Approx how long (in inches) is the King battery w/o the cartomizer on it and how long is it w/ it on?

4) Same as 3 but for the XL batteries.

5) On manual batteries - Do you hear an internal click and bubble sort of sound when you pull? Is this normal and if so, what does the click sound mean?

6) Also manuals - if you press the button during charging is the LED supposed to or not supposed to turn on?

7) Do V4L batteries have blue or other color (outside of red) LED's? If so, would you mind sharing a link to this info, if possible?

8) How many times within 24 hrs, are you/have you found the need to change batteries?

9) In the one video about refilling cartos at the storefront, about halfway through, the person demonstrating how they are refilled, shows a black board of some sort, that stands the cartos upright. I couldn't make out what he said it was. Do you know what that thing is? Also, he's talking about refilling pre-filled cartos --- does this apply to blanks also and which do you get more use out of - the prefilled or the blank cartos?

10) How many different flavs do you vape on an average day? (just curious)

and, finally...

11) Do you find vaping makes you slightly a) relaxed b) hyper or c) no difference. (for long-term vapor users - how long did it take for you to get your energy level back and did you notice any changes in your appearance(ie - more color in your face, etc.)??????

TIA, for your help.

Hey WOW...V4L has a blog on the homepage which can answer a whole lot of your questions.

Vapin' Valerie

The New Vapor King User – Batteries Vapin' Valerie

Choosing Your Nicotine Strength Vapin' Valerie

In regards to manuals, you may hear a slight click, you may not. Depends on how well you use your batteries. Mine no longer have such click from rough usage.

:)

We have 5 different LED colors – Pink, Orange, Yellow, Blue and Green. We do not list an option for choosing LED colors in the drop down menu because we are unable to guarantee receiving a specific color. You can request an LED color in the order comments during check out… If it’s possible, we will make it happen.

Battery change is dependent on the battery life (see above post) but I go through three shorties a day, or 1 and a half XL.

Watch my refilling video, it's me, so its awesome (shut up Valerie) This applies to both prefilled AND blanks:

YouTube - Basic Refilling for Vapor4Life Cartomizers

I vape 555, and 555 only. Sometimes I shake it up with a vape here and there of something else, but I am a monogamist.

:)

Vaping used to make me hyper the more I vaped, now I have settled in. Once it becomes more of a habit, you will settle in. It took me a good month before I really settled in and noticed some changes.

Hope that helps.

:)

(11 questions)

1) How long do you vape b4 putting your appliance down (approx mins/second) and how long are you finding yourself able to in between vaping 'sessions'(don't know what to call this)?

I put it down before I fall asleep!

2) How long should 1 new cartomizer last?

Totally dependent on your usage. I get a couple hrs. out of a fresh carto. Some people get a lot more.

3) Approx how long (in inches) is the King battery w/o the cartomizer on it and how long is it w/ it on?

approx. 3.3" & 4.6"

4) Same as 3 but for the XL batteries.

approx. 4.3" & 5.6"

5) On manual batteries - Do you hear an internal click and bubble sort of sound when you pull? Is this normal and if so, what does the click sound mean?

I get a soft click. The bubble sound is probably juice. It will go away after a numer of drags or if you blow the excess out. I also get a nice hiss/sizle & somewhat of a crackle & pop.

6) Also manuals - if you press the button during charging is the LED supposed to or not supposed to turn on?

dunno? Never felt a need to try and am too comfortable to get up and check.

7) Do V4L batteries have blue or other color (outside of red) LED's? If so, would you mind sharing a link to this info, if possible?

Ryan covered this. Don't know of any link and don't care what color my lights are.

8) How many times within 24 hrs, are you/have you found the need to change batteries? totally dependent on usage. I'm always switch batteries to keep a fresh charge.

Yep. Refilling is the same for both. Don't know what the black thing you refer to is.

10) How many different flavs do you vape on an average day? (just curious)

6 or 7 maybe...

and, finally...

11) Do you find vaping makes you slightly a) relaxed b) hyper or c) no difference. (for long-term vapor users - how long did it take for you to get your energy level back and did you notice any changes in your appearance(ie - more color in your face, etc.)??????

People have said I look healthier. Never noticed much of a change, although early on, I had trouble sleeping if I vaped right up until bedtime.

TIA, for your help.

Ryan,
This is the "first" I heard or read of this (of course I could have missed it :)
Your saying that with the pressing of switch you should "try" to be gentle? (of course that does make sense!)
I am bringing it up as something of a hint.........for the whole "getting used to thing" and benefit of someone just "getting the hang" of vaping.
Interesting..........now I will have to "check" myself! lol
thx, Dee

Hi jdvorr!

I get that sizzle too. It's so cool, now that I know what it is!

Thanks for your gr8 answers. Some things just trying to figure out if I'm using it within a normal range/where I fit in usage wise, with others here. I don't feel so weird though always on the strange side.

Didn't even realize my LED was pink and not red. Don't care either but other people notice. Gives me a chance to 'show off' my PV/explain what it is. Tho, for now, most people are like "there's something different about you" but don't get right away, that the trail of "ode de analog smoke" is missing, lol! They can smell my perfume now. I still can't more than a teensy bit.

I just luv V4L and everyone here! If I ever have a baby, I could see that I'm nutty enough to name him/her V4L, lol! That's another one - for women this can make it safe to have kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why didn't I think of that one b4?

Again, many thanks for your help & sharing. It's a big adjustment. Everyone here makes it so much easier. Can't wait to read more from everyone but, right now, am going back to sleep. The excitement is genuinely exhausting me, lol!

Happy wknd vaping to everyone! :vapor:

NO!!!1!!eleventy!

Please _please_ don't make assumptions like that, and if you absolutely feel you must - those really need to be kept to ones self, because of the damage misinformation like that does to the industry as a whole.

I don't want to get into a long discussion about kids health but, V4L has 0 strength. Nada. Nothing. Ziltch. For nine months women who smoke and don't intend to stop have an option they never had and just like vaping is better for all people. Therefore I applaud the industry and would think many women who can't stop would be delighted and relieved to take in 4000 less deadly chemicals - like the rest of us.

The problem is analogs - proven to cause health probs. There is zero proof w/ e-cigs.

Women are going to do what they want regardless. It is what I would do, ok and if my hubby smoked, I'd divorce him if he didn't also cause of the second hand smoke.

Sheesh! Maybe we should this to a different forum, if it's going to get ugly.

I love V4L. I wouldn't use a patch while pregnant. Zero nic is zero - less painful than just quitting and stress can harm a pregnancy. I personally, wouldn't put myself through it. That's all I'm saying, ok?

Don't blame me. Blame the tens of thousands of doctors, and dozens of years or more of recommendations.

And understand that wrongful health claims will have the whole thing instantly shut-down, banned, and done with. Heck, even health claims that MAY be right that aren't FDA approved will have the same results.

Not to mention the lawsuits, both federal and civil.

I understand that. The little snipe you took about the straw was unnecessary and had nothing to do with this issue. Go ahead and post again explaining your position. It's okay.
It's what you do. I just thought one comment was silly. Nuff said.

The straw has been recommended by doctors for decades.

Don't be an idiot. It's unbecoming on you. Others do a better job of it.

Not being an idiot, never will. You can't get vapor sucking a straw. Thought it was a better option, to vape zero nic while pregnant, than to ingest nicotine. I have actually never heard about doctors recommending sucking on a straw, so I took it in a different way. To me, it did sound silly & lame. I'm actually done with this now. I don't like the personal attacks and won't get sucked into them. If you want to insult some more, feel free. I'll even not respond, so you can have the last word.

Wow, I'm sorry your thread got hijacked. It wasn't my intention.

Thanks. I mean we use it as a choice to quit. If a woman ONLY who would be the real idiot and choose tobacco with nicotine over basically a candy flav e-cig with NO NICOTINE it's also her choice. She's alot more likely to choose choose something a little entertaining while she can't sleep on her stomach, has midnight cravings, emotional outburts for emergency (enter whatever food here) at 3 am etc., etc., etc. and I doubt it's going to be a straw, addy. :vapor::vapor::vapor:

No one in their right mind would go against a doctor's advise for a pregnant woman, anyway. There's alot more involved in OBGYN health anyway.

I seriously was commenting on what I would want to do. I sure couldn't just quit and if I were in love with no major health issue, I wouldn't let a crappette have the last say over my kid's best chance at being healthy.

I have not heard any other answers from the scientific world. Do they have any idea it's not a women's rights issue either? Anologs mess up male sperm in men who smoke.

Always the kids who suffer....always. Where it's legal it's legal based on the same theory of tobacco - adults ok - no way to minors and everyone else go to your doctor.

OT: ---- What flavor are you vaping today?

:vapor:

Happy a great day!

I think vaping zero nic during pregnancy is a great idea. :)

I think the straw comment is just lame addy. Sorry.

I'm vaping the latest version of a custom mix. It's a very strong coffee flavor with some bavarian cream, vanilla & honey mixed in. I've been trying to make a flavor that tastes like good coffee with french vanilla creamer. This version is really good!:toast:

Wow, I'm sorry your thread got hijacked. It wasn't my intention.

Don't worry about it. I don't like when things go political and I'm really sorry addy took my comment that way (see next post)

I'm coming off of over 2pks/day starting @10 yrs old and I tried straws, candy sticks, patches, gum, pills, blah, blah, blah. The e-cigs are helping me and I hope to quit and use the zero. I don't give 2nd thought to negativity cause I know the argument is about $. But to people who haven't ever seen me w/o an analog, ppl who really care it's not about $. They can't believe I found anything that would help and support me because it is better than tobacco.
I can breathe better and learn how to quit and if I fail, it's no e-cigs that caused it - it's all the crap they put in analogs.

I'm just getting my sense of smell back and am scared to death of the smell of tobacco because I have a serious nicotine addiction. Last product I tried was garbage and was stressed out trying to get it to work but I had quit for a couple weeks - I couldn't put down the analogs for longer than 1 day - EVER.

I pray this all keeps helping me and don't judge what other people do or don't do because until you've walked in that person's shoes no one can understand except the person the shoes belong to.

Everyone's going to have their own opinions though. I don't think you hijacked this thread. I think it takes some gall for anyone to say my opinion - for myself - that they happen to be choosing similarly for themselves, deserved the accusation that my opinion can mess up the e-cig biz. If my opinion held that much clout, the gov would be getting kids off the candy analogs cause based on experience, a minor has no clue what their getting into. I was hooked at the first analog and didn't know it until I tried to put them down and couldn't. This is tapering down at a pace that is right for me so my body can adjust properly without 4000 chemicals/day added to the
PIA of quitting.

I'm so grateful, I cry almost every night about finding this product. I'm reclaiming my life on my terms and, damn it! I'm going to try have fun while I'm trying. My crying is wrecking my batteries so addy, shut up!

:p

Very cool! I'm too new to be mixing stuff. I'm vaping the carmel frappicino, and dreaming of the day when V4L's floors us all with cherry cheesecake.

I may not come back to reality! ;)
