Success, for at least 5 hours this AM anyway. So I kept the rig loaded on my nite-stand and hit it as soon as I woke up. 5 hours now and no analogs. I can do the rest of the day w/o the stink sticks, it was just the gettin' up routine that was totally crazy. Thank you all for the information and advice, really helped.

I envisioned "research monkeys" puffing away and by memory was remembering Gracie Slick(Jefferson Airplane) doing White Rabbit and the bit about a hookah smoking caterpillar, .... oh those were the times,... can't remember a thing:confused:. Darned black-outs! Also, Buffy St. Marie's "Codine", ...."it's real, it's real....". Helps the 36mg taste more like an analog mini-cigar? Always thought getting off Turkey and "O-Horse" would make quitting ciggys a snap. 31 years later it's a heck of a struggle.

Beating the wake up crazies is a big darned win for me. Hate to say it but reminds me of the frenzy I used to be in 'til I had that first fix. Couldn't hardly keep the stuff in the spoon when I fired it, shaking so bad. Sheeesh.

Anyway, one hour, one day at a time. Thank you guys, very much.:)

Hope I haven't said anything too bad.

Well, approaching 15 hours w/o an analog. Longest time without one of those little cigars in years. Gads food has smells, I thought it was all sawdust.

Yep, times do change. I'm thankful to still be around to notice that. One of the things that helped persuade me to e-cig was the LittleOldLady thread, we are probably close in age. Hope she's doin' ok.

Thanks all.

...giving up the morning funkies was the hardest for me(and many others) especially the half-a-pack I would smoke with my morning coffee...I use cartos and take my PV to bed with me(don't really use it there) and have it in hand when I get up...I vape like a research monkey the first half hour I am awake and finally got past the morning urge...a little determination and will power here, can make a big difference..............

Great! Thanks! Good to know there's others aqui en la tierra encantado, or here we are in the land of enchantment. Sure feel better getting of the analogs. Heard there might be a gathering in ABQ of vapers in January? If they do I hope it'll be anounced, s'pose it will be.

That would be great. Have you checked out High Desert ecigs yet? Our own NM vape store (Sandia) and he has great prices and sales too. Good juices, DIY flavors, etc. Check it out! bnrk
