I really miss that first analog of the day, I vape for a good half hour when I get up trying to get that wake up call but I still crave that first smoke. I haven't given into the urge but it doesn't seem to be letting up as I get further along without the analogs. I've been vaping 24 mg mostly during the day and some 18 mg (I've got some killer Buttered Rum) but nothing seems to satisfy.

Does anyone use 36 mg in the morning to get started and then cut back to something lighter for the day? Will it kill my taste buds and/or ruin the enjoyment of my 24 mg juice? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've heard of people who start off the day with 36, and then switch to 36 again if their cravings get bad. If you're vaping for 30 minutes without losing your craving you might want to bump it up.

I agree. There are some who vape 36mg all day.

But my guess is your PV might be the problem. I would suggest getting a model with more power and warmer vapor and you might find the cravings diminish.

Sometimes I have the same thing, even after all these years. Personally, I have found that finding the right liq (I usually use a strong coffee or PureCig) along with a light-weight 510 and higher nic works- sometimes even an auto. For me it is something about, not the nic, but just not ready to deal with a lot of fiddling in the morning. I just grab a charged, standard 510 with the cart already attached and vape away while getting real coffee ready. Just my way- may not work for you.

In keeping with , somewhat, wv2win says, this also might be the perfect reason to get a VV.

I have a strong tobacco flavor in the morning that really helps me.Morning for me is the hardest time.Actually I get it ready before I go to bed so I am all set in the morning.I can't tell you the brand because I make it myself but the flavor is desert ship.I also used it on a 510 and it still worked.

Same problem in the morning for me. Am vaping 555-80% PG at 4.5 volts at 36mg/ml. Still I end up practically chain smoking 4-5 mini cigars, one right after another, just in the morning.

Wonder if there's a juice configuration that will give a high absorption into bloodstream without ripping my throat out? The lousey mini cigars don't rip my throat, the PV does.

Maybe try Nicoderm patches in the morning? I don't know what to try next.

Thanks Bradder,

So I go to check out Snus and there appears to be controversy between American Snus versus Swedish Snus. Good grief I didn't know there was a difference. Up in Albuquerque all I'm finding is "Camel" apparently an American brand. It is said that Swedish is purer. I haven't the foggiest idea on this.

Anyone know?

I'm looking into the Snus area, found a lot of info under another heading but still here on ECF.

Yep, RY4 is good use it in the evening usually at 24 to mellow out before sleep.

Tempted to try some WTA juice at pretty stout strength, but wonder how safe WTA might be? Seems there's a bit of untested ground there. Of course it shouldn't be as bad as these d-----d little cigars. I gotta do something that works, analogs are going backwards obviously.

Darned addictive personality type. Had a real battle with booze and poppies 32 years ago. Thought tobacco would be a snap. I think tobacco is the worst, right now I ain't winning.

Thanks y'all.

Here and back
Thanks for the replies, I'll sure I'll try a few of few of the suggestions.

It's difficult, for a little while. It's new, you're quitting smoking, changing habits, yes, it's hard. Get through this patch and on to the next level, it comes naturally. Nothing will be "as good as...", it's different and a tad painful but oh my, worth it.

I'm 2 years 3 months cig free and there were moments but I'm past them now. Good luck to you as well!
