Last night was Chicken Corn Chowda with (be steady, wheez) Bacon crumbled on top. Thick, creamy, big yum.
And Sunday was a hunk of Beef Tenderloin!!! omg, well worth the money. Lawry's, heavy cracked pepper, seared, then roasted to just under 140F. internal. Perfection. Just freaking perfection, with a baked potato. Prime15 during prep and after had me in a good mood after the Jets continue to not win (nor lose) 2 in a row.
I had one of those poor vape nights, multiple tanks needing cleaning, a few others just needing refilling, but Malibu to the rescue. It really is a great dessert, or apris dinner vape.
I had a mini tank, and hadn't done any VooDoo for a while, so filled one up. Gak! Not good. IMHO, the mini hits harsher, harder with a tight draw. This changes the flavor for me. Now with Malibu, the change is acceptable, but not VooDoo. In the regular 2.4, it's not ever harsh, the draw is easy, lending to the billowy dark fruit, cinnamon (cocoa?) vape that I like. There is just a hotness to it in the mini that doesn't work. I'll not do voodoo in the mini again. I wonder if that guy who hated voodoo was doing it in the wrong thing. I'll imagine voodoo would suck in a carto, and I have no desire to waste the time, efort or juice in an attempt.
Tonight? Leftover Beef Tenderloin, most likely with some sort of big noodles (farfalle, flat egg) with a garlic cream cheese sauce.
