I would say no.
Seems to be a raft of certain box mods developing problems with the switch's etc. I suggest the bartleby mainly because you dont need to do a lot of battery changing, and thus wont wear out the box prematurely. The switch and electronics are all sealed so not likely to develop problems due to leakage. Has an off switch so not likely to burn in your pocket and ruin anything. Put a LR atty on it and your vaping like a pro for a minimum investment.

Most Consistant 3.7v Vaping---Box Mod vs Ego/Riva/Defender or KR808 Batts
Which of these provides the most consistant 3.7v vape?

Of the choices, a box mod. Any mod in good working order will outperform an e-cig battery.

My :2c: is that the most consistant 3.7v vape comes from an 18650 battery. You don't have a need for high drain batteries so 3000mah can last a LONG time. The only downfall to that battery that I can tell is that some people don't like the size of the mods.

I have various 3.7v mods and so far the most consistant and easiest to use is the Reo. I like it since it is a box mod with a 6ml bottle so I only have to fill it once per day. It also will use 801, 901, and 510 attys/cartos. Plus it uses a single 18650 battery for longer vape times. On the bottom there is a switch which turns off the device when I want to put it in my purse.

The Reo is rather large but it is still easy to use. There are smaller box mods but they utilize smaller bottles and batteries. For me it was a tradeoff with the size vs ease of use.

the eGo isn't a 3.7 device. True, it has a nominal 3.7VDC battery, but Joye runs it through a PWM circuit, and the MOSFET switch has some resistance as well. Here's a nice picture, and you can go through that whole thread for an interesting read.

A LiIon battery running through a mechanical switch and a voltage regulator is likely to give the most consistent results.

I'm very happy with my Hello 016. I haven't tried any other 3.7v mods, but I have a hard time seeing how it could get much better. It's small enough that it's still comfortable (boxes seem like they would be weird to me), but the battery provides awesome, consistent vapor, and lasts at least a day of pretty consistent vaping (at least in my experience). Not only that, but I LOVE the way this thing looks/feels/functions. It's just seems so well-made and classy. It's also pretty cheap.
