So... I've been on quite a few forums in my life. Mostly for my cars, and in almost every scenario, I run across people bashing other people because of their ideas or comments. Almost as if the majority of the members are just trolling the posts, waiting in the wings, ready to pounce on anything anyone says. This forum has been completely the opposite. Everyone is open minded and although ready to speak their piece, do it in a respectful manner. I wonder why that is about this forum? Is it because the common bond that we share, being ex-smokers, is such a strong one? Very happy to have found this place.

Hi. Welcome.

It all comes down to "the rules" and this forum has 'em and you have to agree to them when signing up. No profanity, no beating up on other members, no illegal drug discussion etc. Heck, even the message posting engine is censored. (It is.) That all might seem like overkill to the "freedom of speech" zealots. But if you ask me it works - you can come here and get info and in a civil fashion. Those other e-cig forums are full of boobs (even the posters...) and f-bombs. And I can never get past the slew of expletives and all the "graphic art" to really get anything out of them. This is much better.

Welcome and I'm glad you found us. You might find it gets different in the politics of it an when non smokers use ecigs even at 0 nic which has been 100% of the cases I've seen. Overall though if you just brush those off its a great place. It helps when everyone is in it for a common goal to keep vapin and not smoking. It's different when its not a size contest like cars (No mine makes 5 billion horsepower :p ) I'm sure you'll find anything you ever want to know about ecigs and maybe a little more here.
