Most rebuildable drip atty's are way too overpriced

A lot of these rebuildable drip atty's are overpriced for what they are. Considering you can find machined drip atty's with finger tightening screw heads for under $20.00, I cannot understand why you would pay over 50 bucks for a drip atomizer.

I think there dudes in the Philippines are spiking their juice when they are creating prices.

Well, I got it as a gift because I could never convince myself to pull the trigger on it at that price.... so you may have a point.

But it is clearly a nicer atty than my iGo

IMO...

Toppers made from raw materials in limited runs, frequently by hand on non-power-feed, hopefully DRO machines - rather than by the thousands on CNC... tend to cost a bit more. As exclusivity has value to some that can afford to be in that club - there will always be a market for those limited run, and/or hand fit and finished devices.

The rest of us... the great unwashed vapists, we want the "good stuff" too... but we can't afford it on a regular basis... and that's where the cloners have us. We settle for devices that look like the original, hopefully work like the original... and close our eyes to the less than exceptional fit and finish.
From a distance... my Nimbus clone looks just like the real deal, and if I spend a bit of time sanding and polishing... adding my own exceptional fit and finish, that distance closes. ;-)

With drippers everything about them contributes to flavor, th, and vapor. I look at it as you aren't paying the whole price for the raw materials, it is just machined aluminum/ss, you are paying for the build/style that whatever person created.

Bud Light and Coors Light are both beers just like a lot of micro-brews but there is clearly a difference in quality. Is the price difference worth it to you?

Oh and different vendors and sales are always a good thing to look out for, one vendor might have a mod or something for substantially cheaper than another, maybe then it will be worth it?

The performance is totally different... Can't even compare them.

In fact it's hard to believe they are the same type of device (rba drippers)...

One thing is the Nimbus even with 2 bored out air holes, seems far less prone to leakage.

Best atty I got is an rm2 for the Reo. Like 42 bucks but works awesome. Microcoils run sweet.

same reason some will pay 200 for a mod or 150 for a geny its just what each person places value in. I think people are foolish for buying cheap crap. That person thinks Im foolish for spending to much. There is no right or wrong just lots of us like to spout our opinion;-)

I'm saving up for an RM2 (I have a mark bugs chalice, so no rush) but I'm pretty impressed with cheap drippers like Smoktech's MINI rda "squid" and even if you only use pre-assembled wick 'n wire, the whole experience should run ya less than the cost of two large pizza's. I think more rba's, rda's, and gennys should come pre-assembled. Had I bought an RSST before a ZAP I would have had a very different first time genny experience.

Hey people can spend money on what they want. A machined drip atty is not a complex device. The quality of the vape is the users ability to rebuild.

It's a simple device. There is not much too it. I've seen a large amount of Chinese made machined drip atty's that are solidly built. The most important feature to the device is the size of the air hole(s). Even that is a preference.
