I'm just a little concerned that people might start believing that "nature" has the ability to cope with everything we throw at "her"... What the heck, let's start re-introducing asbestos in residential areas... our lungs will find a way to cope in the long run. Maybe there is some asbestos eating bacteria out there? Lead plumbing?? Radiation, no problem. The "strong" will survive.
Edit: I'm on my 4th glass of red wine, so maybe I sould keep quiet.
I think nature can cope with what ever we can throw at her, it's just her way of getting around to it takes a little too long. We'll die out way before she does and that's what people's problem is. We need to take care of her now, so we won't have to worry about when she's going to fix things for us.
