Hey guys,

So I'm a bit confused and disappointed at the moment. I've ordered a couple of Capella flavors from England (double chocolate, juicy lemon, harvest berries, cup o' joe) and they were all fantastic. They came in a regular plastic(ish) bottle with a normal nip tip, with a white sticker.

A week ago i ordered from another site, Capella Waffle, RY4 and a couple others, along with a ton of MBV (about 10 flavors). Capella came in a glass bottle without a nip (just some weird unpractical dripping cap). They all, and i mean all, taste horrid. Very very artificial and frankly, some of them smell foul. Like the toasted almonds, they smell and taste like something burned with the smallest hint of almonds.
My question being, is it even possible that the Capella flavors are from the same manufacturer? And what does the original packaging for Capella and MBV look like? I've read MBV reviews and i can't believe they are this bad.

Cheers

I'm a bit confused. Are you saying you ordered these all from mount baker vapors directly. I don't recall MBV ever selling capella flavorings. Or did you get them from another vender. It would help if you would tell us exactly where you got these. Not all venders here in the USA sell top quality flavorings and some venders sell pure re-bottled, re-branded garbage. MBV sells there own brand of flavors and they have been very reputable as far as I can tell. So my hunch is you did not get these flavors directly from them.

You might want to check out your order form and see if both orders contain the flavors described as Capella?
I have read posts suggesting that Mt.Baker uses Flavor West flavors and repackages them. I do not know if Mt. Baker uses Capella for repackaging nor do I know if they indicate original blender (Capella,Flavor West,etc...) on the order form.

I beleive Wizard labs also repackages TFA and Capella with identification on bottle and indicates original manufacturer (blender) on order form. Wizard does not sell small 8ml. quantities, to my knowledge, in the original TFA or Capella containers.

My question being, is it even possible that the Capella flavors are from the same manufacturer?
I think you asking "is it possible that Mt. Baker does not sell Capella flavors".
If so, answer: Yes.

And what does the original packaging for Capella and MBV look like? I've read MBV reviews and i can't believe they are this bad.
Might want to look at the Capella web site to see the original packaging for Capella.
As regard to bad, depends on your taste, how you use them with other flavors, percentage used and so forth.
Don't give up, some flavors are not for everyone.
I have one flavor in particular that has received many high reviews/comments and its not for me.
If you have any additional questions, just hit "like" at bottom right hand corner and I will get back to this thread.

Not that I can help with an answer, but what I think the OP meant was that he ordered some Capella and Mt. Baker flavors from Vendor A one week, then some other Capella and Mt. Baker flavors from Vendor B the next week (or whatever time period had elapsed). The flavors he got from Vendor A were good, but the flavors he got from Vendor B were awful, and they were in different types of containers. I think maybe he's suspecting that Vendor B is selling some icky crap, but labeling it as brand name stuff.

Sorry for the late reply. What Lannie said :)
I bought one batch of Capella from one vendor, then later another from another vendor. And from that second vendor, i also ordered MBV. I did not get them directly, but from a Croatian vendor.
I can understand that bad taste is subjective, but this is worlds apart in quality. I have about 50-60 flavors and have had a fair amount of them which i liked and someone else didn't, and vice versa, but nobody who tried this likes it much. I have read good things about MBV, which is why this left me wondering.
Also the first Capella batch was wonderful, natural smelling and pure tasting. The entire second batch is completely artifically smelling and tasting and i find it hard to believe that in the first batch i ordered all of their best flavors, while in the second i ordered all of their worst. I feel as if one of the vendors did not sell me the product i asked for.
I will take a picture of the bottles when i come home. I'm pretty sure the MBV i got has been taken from a larger container (unequal liquid levels in new bottles).

Capella is very hit and miss to me depending on the flavor. I don't like MBV/Flavor West either. It's possible the second order was repackaged from a different brand but the only person who would know that is the vendor. Have you contacted them? I would merely state that the flavors taste odd/etc, not mention that they may be repackaged as they probably wouldn't admit that.

I have just sent them a mail asking about the flavors, will see what they say :)
