Creme De La Crema. Available only at Mountain Oak Vapors

While I highly doubt there isn't a thread for MOV in the General eliquid Discussion, I was surprised to not see one in the first 10 pages of this forum. So I am putting this here so those interested and currently using MOV can have a place to discuss all that this vendor has to offer.

Right now I am vaping their Capone: Blueberry Torte, from their Creme De La Crema series. Oh, and they provide test results for all of their flavors to show they are free of diketones (diacetyl, acetyl propionyl, etc).

So tell us more Mr. Mann.

I am enjoying some of their Caramel Apple right now and have more on the way. I just picked up 60mls of Blueberry Torte and sorely miss their Peppermint Bark as they pulled it from their line up. I have a small bit left for a rainy day.

Please don't leave us hanging, your thought on the one's you mentioned.

At first I wasn't too sure, and I am still not too sure -- but somehow I have not stopped vaping it for the past 8 hours!!!!!! You tell me what that means. LOL. But seriously, at first it kinda had that diketone-free (esque) taste of custard types where it feels like it missed the mark, but now I am really understanding it and it it's smooth as all get out. The blueberry part is not as lively and dense as I woud've liked it to be, but it's there. It's more like the blueberry puree was mixed into a torte rather than having blueberry atop a (which I had hoped it would be). I recently saw someone talk about a liquid like that and that is exactly how this one is. I like it. I don't love it. But I am really enjoying it as a vape. The added bonus of it being diketone free is great.

8/10

Interesting and thank you.

It might just need a little time. I will post my thoughts when it arrives.

Not sure if it will get that much time to steep. This surely ain't one of those liquids that steeps by default, so I will at least set aside a 5 mL for a month or so.

Mountain Oak Vapors is local to me, or at least started out that way (have expanded into other cities far away). They used to have a presence on ECF, but not lately:

I've been meaning to pop in and try the new lineup, but they use cheap little clearos at the vape bar, so I expect it'd taste a bit muted compared to what I'd vape on the way there. I still keep Sunday Morning in the vape box, very good with a cuppajoe.

I just ordered 3 different liquids from them after doing some research and finding they were diketone free and provide certification to prove it. While there are other juices I like and love, I will be switching over completely to MOV if I can find one or two liquids that suit me. I DO NOT want popcorn lung, and while the evidence is not yet in, and probably won't be for a while, I will err on the side of caution.

Yeah, i's easy for a vendor to say they are diketone-free, but to prove it with documentation, per liquid, is another thing entirely!!!

It's a great step in the right direction. Vendors that take this step will take away ammunition from the FDA and position themselves to remain a rebuttal supplier.

I am not a big custard fan so it's unlikely that i will try their custard line any time soon, but i give them props for even attempting a diketone-free custard line when many say it's not possible.

Until now i have only tried their tobaccos but i will be giving a couple of their fruits a shot.

Sunday morning is a fine tobacco juice. Robust and burley forward with the cavendish and virginia more apparent to me on the exhale. I get only a hint of coffee and cream and it serves to smoothen the vape rather than be an equal companion to the tobacco. Very different to their synthetic coffee tobacco "Americano", which is more of a coffee vape to me.

I prefer their " Southern Gentleman " which comes across a little more complex to me, but a this is a fine tobacco juice in it's own right and you're right it's great with a cup of coffee.

You know, I am not really a custard (read diketone) vaper either, but I figured to try this one wouldn't hurt (so to speak, ;)).

Bookmarked in my favorites, giving it try later..just wish they had 3 mg options for us that are headed towards to 0MG status.

I can't believe I am at this place now, but I agree -- I would prefer 3 mg, but 6 mg will do me just fine. 3 mg means I can vape it all day, but 6 mg means I have to take a break every now and again. This is only about when vaping out of an RDA though, becasue i still vape 24 mg+ unflavored when vaping out of a Cisco Spec atty.

I am surprised there are so many 3 mg vapers out there. One option ( for those who hav nic on hand ) is to add one ml of 100 mg/ml nic to a 30 ml bottle. That won't dilute the juice in any noticeable manner.

Got confused when I read that, but I realized you meant to a bottle of zero nic product from MOV.

That is a good idea. I might have to order some nic.
I went from smoking a pack to a pack and a half for about 23 years to smoking none 8 months ago when I started vaping. Have worked my way to 3mg nic, and don't want to go back up.
I usually order 6mg and 0mg of stuff like if 3 is not offered, but may buy some nic like you suggest and order mov in 0mg
