Hopefully I remember to call my mom tomorrow. I'm sure my wife will remind me. We are going over to the inlaws for some ham and pasta salad, twice-baked potatoes and probably pie. I really ought to weigh way more than I do.

Yeah. It is kind of hard on her, living in Central Illinois. She's got a great job doing computer work for a fairly big company. They let her be herself, which is cool.

YEA - living in the middle of the country can be a little more than rough on someone when they are going though this . . . However, it's Great to know the company she is working for is behind her . . . AND then with YOU as her Uncle - NICE . . . Hopefully - the rest of the family is supportive too . . . Does she have access to other support systems - especially in Chicago ? ? ?

Her mom is Uber religious, so kind of disowned. They don't speak to each other. But my mom and step-dad have been very supportive. My daughter is also close with her.

And unfortunately not Chicago, Springfield. She is in a good relationship. Plus she has lots of friends.
