Just decided to get out and try the pond. Haven't been to the lake in weeks...

I'm getting some bites underneath that tree branch... but I think it might be a turtle...

Just loaded up a tank of some Heavenly 7... sittin under one of my favorite trees.. got a couple ice colds and it might only be 100 degrees out...

Irish - what do you use for catfish bait?

I use old shrimp soaked in the sun with garlic, olive juice, warchester (miss spelled), and lots of louisiana hot sauce. On one pole the other pole is good old nightcrawler...

Made it home with no fish.. it was still nice for a few hours... good day but a long drive home in a monsoon storm.

Hmmmm that's very interesting bait - the shrimp I mean...nightcrawlers are good...I usually use raw bacon - works like a charm!

I wasn't able to get out of my place today to take any pics, so I guess this is the end of the road for me...

The contest has been a lot of fun and I'm sorry that I just wasn't able to keep up with all of the challenges. I was hoping that maybe I might still have a chance at one of the Photoshop winners, but AZ just blew everyone out of the water... LOL!!


So here is my final entry... Good Luck to Everyone who is still left in the running!!

(btw, we always used either bacon or hotdogs as bait for catfish... lol)

Yeah raw seasonid shrimp either works very well or no bites... today was a turtle biting day.
