That happened to me and it was the nic level was too high. Once I did something about it, it took a while to get back to normal.

One thing that made a difference for me was being careful where the vapor "hits" in the mouth. I was sending warm vapor right on my tongue which tastes great but, oof, it eventually scorched my tongue and knocked out my taste buds for a while. I'm careful to move the direction of the vapor around often now.

I'll have to try to be more careful where the vapour hits as the burnt tongue was no fun and made eating a chore. Thanks for the reply.

I'm still not sure if it's the nicotine or the pg but it is definately much less with the vg low nicotine I'm using now. I haven't tried Pink Spot but I wonder if there is something in the nicotine extraction process is different.

It's probably a reaction to the nicotine, and it seems to affect people differently. If I vape after eating I can't taste the juice because I get strong nicotine taste and a full mouth prickly sensation. Drinking water and brushing my teeth seem to help. I've also noticed that liquids with higher VG and less nicotine do not prickle as much.

I hope you get it sorted out.
