Mouth coating?

What is this "mouth coating" I see so many people mention? I vape pretty heavily all day and don't know what people are talking about. My mouth isn't coated with anything. Do I have super saliva or something? I've always been a person who drinks water constantly all day, so could that be a factor? This mouth coating doesn't sound like anything I want to get.

I sometimes notice a film on my tongue when I brush before bed. But I think it was worse before I quit smoking...

See I don't get that at all. If anything, I feel like there's less coating in my mouth. The vaping kinda dries it out, but as long as I drink water it's fine.

All that water is probably washing any potential film away. I know I don't drink nearly the amount of liquid I should. And I drink way too much coffee - which I used to think was responsible for that film (lots of cream and sugar) but now I think it was the cigarettes.

Anyway, if you're NOT getting the film, I wouldn't question it too closely...
