I've been vaping for quite a while (2 years??) but a few weeks ago got a wicked case of dry mouth. Like a desert. I switched to a dripper for a couple weeks and it seemed to get quite a bit better. Went back to the kayfun a couple days ago and it's back. Don't think it's the juice but wondering if it may be something with the build or maybe I've developed a sensitivity to cotton? I have a silica build in the dripper and organic cotton in the KF.

Just wondering if anyone had also picked up a wicked case of dry mouth and if they figured out the cause?

Like I said, I've been vaping for a couple years. I do get the mild dry mouth which is no big deal. This isn't that, this is like when you eat way too much pineapple. Seems to be more specific to the KF which I've used for quite a while without issue. Coil is at 1.6 which is what I run them at in this thing. Not sure if it's some sensitivity I've developed or maybe I'm just getting continuous hot hits or something.

Funnily enough, I have been having a similar issue.

The last six months, I rapidly went from a protank mini I had been using for a year, to a natutilus mini, and then to a subtank mini, a delta 2 and a goblin. The STM and Delta II are both using the RBA decks, and everything is loaded with KGD cotton now. I'm wondering if I'm wicking right, or something else funny is going on. If I didn't have this backstock of 50/50, I'd be trying to lower the PG, but I just can't seem to let go of the backstock, although I'm diluting the nic level now.

I'm also wondering if its because my newer devices are more efficient with more air flow, although my KFL never had a lot of air flow, but I only used it a couple of times.

I'll let you know if I come up with something.

I think lack of airflow might be part of the problem. May be getting too hot / slightly dry vape. Took the KF completely apart, cleaned it spotless including the air holes, rebuilt it and switched to some higher VG... kind of counter-intuitive if it's a wicking or getting somewhat dry hits though. We'll see how tomorrow goes. May end up back with the dripper and some Pluid. That seemed to tame the effect quite a bit.

So, I thought I'd report back on what I have, well because I said I would.
My dry spell seems to have passed. I read on one thread that PG can cause this, but in some people it passes after they get used to it.
As I enter the realm of DIY, I'm still going to drop my PG from 50/50 to maybe 80/20 or 70/30 but that is what I have found so far.

Hope you are getting better with it too, or have found another solution.
