Hey guys!

I just got my Mini Protank 2 V2 yesterday, and love it. Been using my EVODs before that, so I'm already a fan of Kanger's BCCs.
Anyways, what I've noticed is that after I vape on my mpt2, there's this white-ish residue on the metal drip tip / mouth piece.
Never ever had that on my plastic EVODs, so I guess it's because it's metal.

Is it like flaking of the lips on the tip?
It kind of hardens if I don't clean it right after some use, then I have to wash it.

Sounds kind of gross I know. I'm just weirded out by it.

Does anyone else notice this happening with metal drip tips?
(I noticed the same thing when I shortly had my Protank 2, the bigger sized one, before I sold it)

I have four minis and have never noticed anything of the kind. Must be something unique to your own mouth. Maybe don't vape right after brushing your teeth? LOL.

my lips are kind of dry these days due to the weather, could be it as well.

I did find a thread about "lip boogers"
Seems like metal and glass tips tend to collect that residue better than acrylic.

You know when I used to smoke ciggy's the paper around the filter would sometimes stick to my lips if I left it hanging from my mouth for a short time. I'm reminded of an episode of "Friends" where Ross was impersonating Rachel's father and had a cig in his mouth when suddenly Rachel's father was in front of him and swipes the cig out of Ross's mouth. It sticks to his lips and pulls some of the skin off!

Needless to say...everyone has a little crud on their lips. Dead skin cells and dry saliva. The same happens to my drip tips. It's worse in the winter time...chapped lips and all...but the only other option is to get chapstick all over the drip tip! I hate that even worse!

I noticed the same thing when I started using my Nautilus since it has the metal drip tip. I also have fairly dry lips because I live in the desert and I attributed it to that. I also seem to notice it more after waking up. I'm guessing because when I sleep the dry lip skin and saliva accumulate and get stuck on the drip tip. You could buy a few alcohol wipes to throw in with your vape stuff to wipe it down real quick when needed.

Omg, I missed that thread but you know I'm gonna search for it now! I don't know why, but the term alone has me lmao!
I can't say I've had it happen yet, but I'm always wearing lipstick or Chapstick so I keep handi-wipes in my purse to wipe my tips often. I also have a habit of "mouthing" -licking, sucking, (and if it's not metal) nibbling on mine, so I guess I could be literally eating my boogers. Omg that's nasty. I'll never look at my drip tips the same way again!!!
