I still have to read twilight series 
but not the last one because i need the thrill of the next movie in november .I know ,silly but i love those .I have had some really intelligent engineer friends reading that series .

The only movie I thought was better than the book was 'The Exorcist'. I read the book when it first came out while in High School, and it was scary, but man when I saw the movie it really freaked me out.
It didn't help that I had to drive home after that movie, alone, in the dark, 40 miles into the mountains, in a little pickup with a big coil of rope in the bed. I still remember looking in the rearview mirror all the way home thinking it was moving...Crap i shudder just thinking about it!

Ms. Plantlvr you just reminded me of one of my favorite places to walk, the steps in georgetown where they shot that movie.
Scared the $#@^ outta me too as a teen and still cant watch it if im home alone lol ...hubby thought it was funny and not scary in the least .lol ....ewww creepy Morandir but not surprising lol

Morandir the town where I lived back then was also called Georgetown! That's where I was headed after seeing that film, it's a small foothill North Cal town about an hour and a half South of Lake Tahoe.

I saw it the weekend it came out. Was slightly dissappointed - it was slow in places, took too long (IMHO) for the plot to develop. But Daniel Craig looked FINE, and there was at least one great surprise. So save your $ and watch it at home ;-)
my bf hates movies but occassionaly Ive got my movie date guy to take me. I should call him up and see if he's down for a movie date!
I'm going to see this today with my roomate when she gets off work at 4, woohoo
