Know it and LOVE it Iken.

Back in our more permissive days we would watch this back to back along with TETSUO THE IRON MAN.

However, just finished a movie...if you are into horror... I have 4 words...

HOUSE OF THE DEVIL.

YouTube - 'The House of the Devil' Trailer HD

WOW That looks incredible Born! Adding to the list right now!
I Love horror flicks! It's rare to find any good ones anymore. Thank god for Rob Zombie. Here's a clip from my most favorite horror movie of all time.

Due to the graphic nature of this clip. Viewer discretion is advised for the following. If your weak willed do not watch!

It's a slow moving film at first, but DAMN, what a fine flick!

Can't say I agree about Rob Zombie though....as a lifelong horror fan, his handling of the Halloween franchise has bothered me greatly by his incessant need to create "backstories".

In Halloween 1, he blew his load in the first twenty minutes, and did the same thing in part 2. The hospital footage at the beginning of part 2 was SOOOO awesome...and he lost me right after that.

Awesome call on Jacobs Ladder. Brings to mind some other very surreal films such as SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW, DON'T LOOK NOW and ANGEL HEART.

A buddy was HIGHLY recommending this one. Juilette Lewis, suprised I never heard of it.

However Born, did just remind me of a classic!
YouTube - A Clockwork Orange Trailer (HD)

Oh wow that has to be one of my top 5 all time favorite movies! A couple weeks ago I watched it and Natural Born Killers back to back. Whats even scarier is that I did that without the aid of drugs or alcohol since I gave both up many many years ago LOL.

I thinking I'm going to do a Saw marathon this weekend, 1-6.

As much as I hated the mess that was Saw 5, Saw 6 was actually REALLY, REALLY good!

Thank for posting that. I've been a little worried to watch 6. I've been pleasantly surprised how far they have been able to carry the Saw movies and thought 5 was the downhill slide. All good sequels should stop when they start the downhill slide. The Grudge is another favorite movie of mine. Two did a bad downhill slide and 3 was out right horrible. They should have stopped at 1.

LOL Natural born killers sober??? No J/k it was actually really great movie sober! haha Here's a good old classic mind bender. YouTube - Army of Darkness Trailer
Awkwardly enough, I really enjoyed saw V, it brought me back into the Saw loop. 3 and 4 temporally killed thew whole franchise for me.

Videodrome is my avatar...actually. Classic Canadian film!!

Is that Will Smith's son in the Karate Kid movie? I want to see it and Robin Hood and Clash of the Titan. I will admit, I actually liked the original Clash of the Titans. I think Thy already brought this up, but have they given up on original movies? Theres just so many remakes lately.

Make it through 1-4 of the Saw movies yesterday. Hopefully I'll have time to do 5 tonight and 6 tomorrow night. Saw (no pun intended) there's a 7 in the works, 3D no less. So what's with everything going to 3D?

LOL Thye!! Edit: Why they titled it that way though is beyond me. It looks to be a good movie for what its worth. Jackie Chan afterall.

Agreed it does look like they've done a decent job of making it as with the other two you posted also. However I am so sick and tired of the fact that most of Hollywood seems to have decided that using the same general story ideas over and over with new titles and different actors wasn't bad enough and they now have to crank out "remakes" or "reworks" of older movies and tv shows. It was one thing when you would get the occasional remake of a movie that came out 40 or 50 years ago because they could make it "better" now with the advances the industry has made. It's another thing when now half the "major" movies are remakes of things that not only were originally made in the last 20 years but some have already had remakes done previously.

I guess originality is just one more thing to add to the list of things that have gone by the wayside, kinda like common sense and manners. ;)

Yes that is his son.

I watched the first 2 Saw movies but haven't bothered since.

I finally figured out the name of a movie I was trying to think of the other day. 80 minutes This falls into my personal catagory of messed up movies. Basic plot has been done many times, but the twists and turns this movie throws in are quite interesting. But not near as interesting as the ending. I thought it was a good watch. Came across it on cable late one night when nothing else was on and ended up liking it. I suck at searching, there may be a trailer for it somewhere LOL. If you have netflix you can use the watch instantly and watch it on the computer.

80 Minutes
2008 NR 90 minutes
Alex (Gabriel Mann) owes an angry creditor $15,000, and if he doesn't pay it back within the next 80 minutes, he's dead. Injected with a time-delayed poison, Alex frantically races all over Berlin looking for money but finds more problems instead. Chock-full of exciting car chases and awesome action sequences, this tense German thriller is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Natalia Avelon, Niki Greb and Joshua Dallas co-star.

.
Yes, yes and yes! You mean like a YouTube - Family Guy - Harrison Ford - I Want My Family Back
Originality has been next to dead for quite sometime. Everything has been done before pretty much. Our technology has gotten so advanced, we base everything on convenience-y so much to a point that we're all just getting lazy with thinking up creative ideas. Everything is always a spin off of something else. From a book, television show and even movies that haven't even past the 5 year date (The incredible Hulk) It is a damn irritating shame, but what can do about it? :( I'm afraid there are and probably will never be any options for us my friend. Hate sounding like a pessimist, but it is what it is.
