Well, I guess Kearny got off his .... and started working again. I placed my order Friday morning and by midday, Halo said they shipped it. It wasn't until Sunday morning that I could see anything on the USPS website, so I resigned myself to the thought that I wouldn't get it until Thursday. I had even prepared a rant with me standing on a mountaintop, shaking my fist at the sky, and shouting "Kearny!"

It arrived today. Probably a world record for shipping anything from Jersey to Nevada.

The VV sure is a pretty sight. But it did not include any instructions. Is the "first charge" procedure any different than the G6 batteries (charge 8 hours, use 20 minutes, charge 2 hours)? Any insight will be appreciated.

As long as the battery is above 32F, charge as normal. Make 100% SURE, EVERYTIME, that you are using the correct charger, or you will have a pretty but useless tube!!!! the Triton charger says Halo, while the G6 says G6.

And it is done charging when the LED on the CHARGER stays solid blue. The vv button lights when charging, but goes out before charging is finished. As opposed to the regular Triton batts, that the button light is off while charging, and lights when it's charged. Either way, it's the LED on the charger, that blinks showing how close to finished it is.

All I can say is that I love the VV and im really glad I didn't go with a regular Triton. They are definitely worth the price. Voodoo and Malibu are absolutely incredible with it, and the Belgian Cocoa is even better than before. Still need to try a carto of Tribeca, and tanks of Kringle and Longhorn.

1. In my opinion, Torque 56 is Halo's most authentic thing to actually smoking. Try it if you haven't!!!

2. Since you have both, try equal parts Voodoo and Southern Classic mixed for something TRULY bizarre and awesome.
