Don't be discouraged!
I smoked for 30+ years and the last 10 or 11 years i smoked 2 and a half packs a day
So..just before New Years Day 2013 ..I was away from home and I picked up a disposable at a Walgreens because the stinkies were higher priced than what i was willing to pay, and the disposable was 10 bucks..still cheaper than 2 packs at the counter,
I saw on the package that it was supposed to be equivalent to two packs of smokes and i figured..what the hell..i will try it.
I got about 30 good drags out of it and it was all done...i used to get 10 good drags out of one cigarette..i was like.....? what a rip-off.. not happy!
So i did some research and concluded that i needed some kind of kit that would satisfy me if i were to quit smoking..of which i had no plan to do at that time.
Every search i did never once pointed me to any "good" source and all the kits i saw were replicas of cigarettes, and based on my experience, there was no way that i would want anything like i had with that disposable because at the time it seemed like i was going to spend more on those than the real thing.
So..further research was needed..and i found a place that was still high priced but one that i figured gave me a better chance of getting some satisfaction ...as i am, a lot of times, nowhere near any place i can get smokes if i ran out.
I bought a kit for 100 bucks..and knowing what i know now was about 70 dollars more than i should have spent... but on a brighter note.. had a link to several forums..thankfully
That first kit had two 650mah ego batteries..a crappy charger and two clearomizers that leaked everywhere..and a 3ml bottle of some nasty tobacco flavored liquid...big rip-off.
The kit got here on Feb 1st 2013.. i smoked a cigarette on the way to my post office that morning, got the kit..filled up the clearos in the car... and never looked back and have had NO cravings or desire to ever smoke again.. good riddance!!!
The very next morning i got online and found some juice vendors that didn't cost me an arm and a leg..got that in 3 days..just as i ran out of that crap that came with the kit..lol.
6 days later i bought a Vamo for 40 bucks..some batteries...vivi nova tank..some heads for it..and here i am!
So now i have built up quite the collection in addition to what i had before..here is a partial list as this has escalated quickly!!!
Several mechanical mods..telescopes..bottom button..side button.. RBA's..AGA's..gennies ,drippers...lava tank..IBTanked pyrex..wick..wire..mesh... I rebuild all of them now,
I look forward and never look back!
