That's good to know. I'd hate to end up breaking the thing because of a slip or accident.

I confess to being pretty clumsy that's for sure - Especially getting out of the car and forgetting I have the thing in my lap....

Yes, metal casings are good then.

I've not yet managed to break a glass tank... but it will happen one day.

I've broken a few phones that way... now I tuck whatever I'd put in my lap under my leg furthest from the door.. then it just rolls into the seat or falls on the floor..

Morning guys!

I've just gotten back from the Post Office - And picked up my brand new MVP20w + Nautilus Mini tank :)

This thing is incredible, even moreso when compared to my old E-Cig. It's not just a Night and Day difference, it's even more. I bumped it up to 5V and had a few puffs and it definitely hit me hard! 6V is crazy too - I think I'll keep it down at 4.8-5V. DJsvapour, the Dekan Juice is lovely - I'm smoking a Cherry flavour, and I get a lovely "fake" cherry taste - Like those old Cherry Drop sweets - on my tongue straight away. It's delicious :)

Edit: This Juice seems to last longer than the Apollo stuff too.

Given how good this is, I think I've smoked my last actual cigarette an hour ago.

I'm going to record a small video just to show you the difference between the vapour in this, and my old one.

Many thanks all, I think I've made a fantastic purchase!

Volts is potential.
Watts is power.

If you think of a pipe line carrying water, Voltage would be the pressure of water in the line. Current (amps) would be the velocity of the water that is flowing and Wattage would be the total flow rate through the pipe line. At least this is the easiest way I can find to describe it.

On your device (MPV) when you set it to 4.8 volts using a 1.8 ohm coil (most likely the one you're using in your Nautilus) you're getting 12.8 watts (power) to heat the ejuice into a vapor. Replacing the 1.8 ohm coil with the 1.6 ohm (lower resistance) coil the voltage will still be 4.8 but you'll be getting 14.4 watts.
Setting your device using watts it won't change when you swap in another atty (or different coil), however the voltage would change to supply the same amount of power (watts).

Of course I could be completely wrong, but I don't think I am.

Nice advice, I just tried it.

It definitely increases the flavour for sure!

What's the actual difference between the Volts and the Wattage settings?

You already entered in variable wattage/voltage world, so, I think it is mandatory to remember some things from the school, and that is the Ohm's law. There are tons of tutorials on the net. Having a regulated mode, like a MVP, keeps you from dangerous things, but when you will try a mechanical mod (and, believe me, you WILL try!!), a clear understanding of the relationship between current, voltage and wattage in an electric circuit is a big must. I didn't want to sound too "teacher-ish"! The thing is a regulated mod has a chip that calculates everything for you, according to Ohm's law, no matter what crazy setups you make from the buttons. It's a kind of autopilot, so to speak.
