Ok after abit of a nightmare last night after getting my MPV2.

Iclear30 duel coil tank, the little white rubber bit had no hole in the end (cut a hole in top...works).

Protank2 didnt work at all...got base stuck and had to plier it off today..now works after switching the MPV2 off and on again!

Both working nice now and I can see how this thing is awesome.

Can someone advise me on some VV and VW settings? Im sure its been asked a million times but looking at the chart - http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9dkanCt0I1qc8949o2_1280.png

Why does my MPV2 go upto 11 Watts?

Surely the max you would want it on is 8.5? as above that it says its dangerous?

A link to a thread if this has been asked too many times would be great or some advise is appriciated!

Thanks

I vape my dual coils at 10-11 watts on my mvp2. its actually 5.5 w per coil (total of 11) so its still in a safe zone.

single coils can also go to 10 watts, but their life is severely shortened.

As far as what would be best, start at the lowest wattage and take a drag. bump up til you get what you like. thats how I do mine ^^

Ok if I hold down the P and set 7w...is the MPV2 set to the Watts or both?

If I say set the V to max 5 but then set the Watt to 7....does it not make a difference if I have the V on 3.3 or 5? Would it be the same?

Similar if I put the W on 11 hold the U and set the V at say 4....so the Voltage is the setting? It would vape at 4V and ignore what the W is on?

Im trying to set the V and W at a similar level...not even sure if im running it on W or V..or both!

does the last press do the setting (running on V or W) or does it run on both?

You can only set one or the other. If I understand my MVP right. When you hold down the wattage button it goes inot wattage mode.
Hold down the volt button it goes into volt mode. You can't have a fixed resistor coil and set both the other parameters.
The law of Mr Ohm will not permit it.

ETA: Yes, which ever one you set last is the one it's working with and ignoring the other.

You can only use one or the other. Setting watts will automatically change the volts to adjust to different ohms. You will still probably want to adjust for different juices. The best way to decide where to set it at first is to start low and adjust up until you like it. If you go too high you can end up with a burned taste, so you probably don't want to have a lot of juice in while you're figuring out where you like the setting.

sometimes if I'm switching between my nemesis and mvp I'll set the mvp to 3.8 volts so it performs on par with my nemesis (or pretty close to it)

as to "why would you run vv when vw does all the work"? simply put, sometimes low (like, 1.3 ohm dual coil attys) can really throw that wattage thing out the window. so to be on the safe side, if you put it at 3.8v on a 1.3 ohm dual coil, it tends to work a little better.

but thats getting very very advanced into wonky math.

as far as YOURE concerned, you probably will kick it to 7.5-8 watts and never touch the feature again. ^^
