After ordering Mr. Puffer, receiving an immediate e-receipt, and then waiting almost 2 weeks with NO contact, and 4 ignored e-mails, I finally received it last week. The former MIA Mr. Puffer arrived DOA. Since it didn't come with batts, I had ordered batts and a charger ($44). I charged 2 brand new batts. I inserted one of the batts, a brand new atty (that I tested on a Riva), filled the juice bottle, squeezed it, turned the switch on, pushed the button, and NOTHING HAPPENED. After diddling with batts and atties a while, I realized it was just plain dead.

I packaged it up and returned it, with a note, to the return address that was on the package, requesting a replacement, and followed up by sending an e-mail. I have heard nothing at all.

I guess I should presume I'm out $40, and should find a mod that uses the same size batts, since I've already invested in them and a charger.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. Who sells the Mr. Puffer? Just want to add something thy may help you in the future. When you need to return something, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS e-mail the supplier FIRST to let them know you want to return it, and wait for them to respond confirming that you can return it and that they know to be expecting it. Always.

I did email them, but these guys don't answer emails. Since I had to go to the P.O. anyway, and since the unit was totally useless to me, I just shipped it back with delivery receipt. I couldn't find them on the forum approved vendors, which I didn't check until after the fact. I really don't want to bad-mouth anybody, but I'm just disappointed at being duped.

My MP1 didn't work either when I first got it. I fidled w/the battery connection a bit and then it fired. I don't think your batt was connecting.

Anyway, you're right the guy has terrible CS. Tried to get replacement parts, never answered a single email.

You'll prolly get money back if you keep on it . I think he's honest, just busy w/other stuff.

I had the same problem with my kaji. The batteries I had from tenergy had to much plastic on the bottom and would not make a negative contact. A little trimming with a pair of scissors did the trick. Check and see if this can help.
