Thank you. This one was born like the rest. Someone requested something, we talked about it, I threw some material on the bench and went with what felt good. I think it came together Well. I like it when someone wants something and they give me free reign on material choice. I almost like the stress of wondering if they are going to like it. Is that weird? Just wondering.
Nope. Not weird at all. I do the same thing in my line of work. My best work comes when I am given a little direction and am given creative freedom over everything else.
Its those projects that you give the most love to.. and it is pretty much always reflected in the final product. If you love it... the client will too.

Well sort of. As good as that one looks it didn't make the cut. When I cut the grove for the o ring I went too deep and it actually has two o rings on it. I sort of adopted it. I still have the piece of material that that one came from. As a matter of fact I already have one rough cut and ready to be turned.

Oh and Since I really don't have much of an imagination I hope to just let Tommy surprise me. I know that I will treasure what ever I receive. Would love something that would go with my favorite batteries. Maybe something with a mixture of red, blue and purple. I wonder if that is doable. That way it would look good on which ever spinner I used it on.
