I agree. I got the Subtank with some hesitation since I was enjoying my Atlantis, but I am glad I went ahead and purchased it. It has plenty of capacity and I have been enjoying the taste of the RBA section. I purchased a extra pack of coils and ran it with the OCC pre-built's for the first week and enjoyed it just fine. I wicked up the RBA section to give it a try. It has a tighter draw but it has TONS of flavor. I am quite happy with this purchase.

I was thinking about the Subtank but the RBA Insulator seems too sketchy for me... Still might pick one up if I find a good price because I would enjoy the Single coil/Dual coil Versatility.

I've only used the RBA so far. The insulator is OK but last night, when rewicking, I found the 510 pin had come loose and the whole positive assembly was out of whack. Easy to fix but not top quality! I think I inadvertently loosened the pin when trying to remove the chimney collar which had tightened up beyond belief.

For UK readers, the Subtanks are going for around £24 this weekend at no1ejuice.

I have to tighten that center pin almost everytime I pull out the RBA section. I hold the top piece with needle nose and turn the bottom pin with a small screwdriver . Even at the point where it feels it might break it's still not tight enough for my liking. The insulators seem very stiff. It's a small problem and the benefits of that section outweigh a few seconds tightening a screw.

Also Welcome to ECF! Always happy to see new people here. This Forum was like a goldmine when I found it, absolutely love the people here and there is never a short on info if you have any questions.

What are you running your subtank on!? :)

Ta for the welcome!
The subtank (with 1R5 build) runs on my Vamo 5 (looks mad and falls over a lot) or my MVP2 (looks dreadful but doesn't fall over so much). I only run at 10W so they both cope with it very well.

I totally agree and I'm glad I'm not alone!

Did you find the OCC coils prone to sticking in the base of the Subtank?

I ask because when I tried to extract the 0.5 Ohm one, the bottom pin -that metal part that makes positive contact with the Subtank base- got separated from the coil, stretching the wire, and making the coil pretty unusable. (And that situation did not get better after one of the most boneheaded attempts to repair I've done in my life :( )

Same almost happened with the 1.2 Ohm coil, but it could be extracted from the base with extra care.
