This brings up a brain weevil that's been eating away at me for a few days now.

So in other threads we've talked about steeping and how most flavors need Some to ALOT.

So how is it then that Local vape shops are able to Mix Right Then for a customer who walks in the door and it be just fine? Surely they aren't carrying lebbinty zillion PG/VG, Nic variations of already pre-steep house juice(?)

Some fruity flavors do not need to steep. I find the sweet/bakery types require more steeping than anything else. Tobaccos need some steep as well. My only explaination.

I got started at MBV. Probably spent around 2-300 bucks and tried about 20 juices. 2 were good, 3-4 more were okay but not something I would vape repeatedly all day, and the rest were nasty. Extensive steeping required or you'll get nasty soapy aftertastes.

The main knock on MBV is their consistency. I stopped ordering from them when the 2 juices I liked and reordered were disgusting on the second/third bottle. The two that I liked Banana Nut Bread and the Cinnamon Roll. The BNB tasted like soapy tobacco on the third bottle, and the Cinnamon Roll tasted like straight cinnamon juice on the second bottle. Most of their juices require 3-4 week steep to get rid of the chemical taste, but most of them never got good.

Now that I've moved onto another vendor, when I try to vape their MBV juice it makes me nauseous. Not just from the flavor, but I guess once you've been away from their ingredients for a while, your body has to get used to them again.

With that said, they have incredible customer service. They ship quickly, have a livechat, and if there's a problem they fix it right away. I've had a small problem 2-3 times and they remedied it with the quickness either by sending me a new bottle or giving me a store credit.

One thing that drove me crazy was that the flavors were weak unless you got flavor shots. But it's up to you to decide how many flavor shots you need without tasting them. So basically you're becoming a make-shift juice chef without ever intending on being one.

I purchased most of the best sellers and was shocked that I pretty much hated all of them. Nice flavor selection, but with so many choices it makes my head spin. I actually prefer when vendors narrow it down a little bit. When you've got 3-4 flavors with the same taste profile, it gives you a headache trying to decide which one.

I mean Cinnamon Roll vs. Honey Bun. Cinnamon Roll is basically Honey Bun with stronger cinnamon. Banana Nut Bread vs. Bananas Gone Nuts. Bananas gone nuts is Banana Nut Bread with Cinnamon added. And most of the flavors, especially the fruits, are very artificial tasting. Basically like vaping candy.

Sorry for the long post.

OP, I feel your pain. I've avoided MBV due to reviews like yours, but I too have wasted more money than I care to admit (even to myself) on unvapable garbage that was riddled with 5-star reviews...

Finding the right e-liquid(s) for you is easily imo the most arduous part of longterm vaping.
Then you find the right juice and the company disappears, or changes their recipe, or quality deteriorates.

I'm on my second 236ml bottle of their USA Menthol. That's all I vape.
What is it like, PURE menthol? Ice? Does it burn clean? (coils?) I find, being an ex Menthol ciggie smoker, that I NEED one tank full of a Menthol. That Has Been Halo Menthol Ice but that's also a Premium dollar juice.

I was smoking 305 Menthol Lights, a pretty nasty, chemically Menthol to me.

Both USA menthol and USA regular with MBV burn very clean and
both aren't bad at all, maybe a flavor shot or 2 needed but that's
it. I enjoy a lot of MBV juices and have been ordering the majority
of my juices from them for almost 2 years now.

i bought from mbv three times bc of all their reviews, and i still haven't found any of their juices to be decent. they're pretty horrible, imho. does anyone else agree or am i alone on this?

Better than Vape Wild, not as good as ITC Vapor.

No, it's not PURE menthol.....it's got some tobacco flavor in there as well; that's probably why I like it as an ADV. You might also get a little maple taste as well, my mom says she smells maple in my vapor (yet I don't really taste it lol). I'd say get a sample size and try it out (it's so cheap!).

Yup, my first bottle was 50/50 vg/pg 3mg....for my current bottle I opted for an extra flavor shot and wanted to try it at 80/20.

I used to order from MBV all the time when I was using stuff like to the Protank, Evods, etc. Have tried most of their flavors and bought most of their DIY flavorings and was a satisfied customer. I went out to Vegas for several months and started dripping and buying Premium juices. Came back home and placed a big order with MBV. Wasn't very happy with my purchase. The Bloodbath was super weak and the rest I got wasn't as good as I remembered. I think many of their flavor profiles and recipes are very simple.
Vaping on a RDA at .2ohms is much different that sucking on a Protank with a 3 weeks old coil flavor wise.

They still have a few flavors that I really like and would likely buy again. They definatley fill a solid niche. For 50 bucks, you can get ~7 30mls bottles of juice shipped to your house in 2 days.

i love mt baker vapor but i ordered a banana cream pie that was just wrong. It is apparently one of the best flavors but i think i got a bad batch of liquid. its a good thing i didn't pay more than about 5 dollars for it. I wonder how good their customer support is. Im thinking about contacting them to see if they can test the liquid and see if its wrong.

People's taste buds are different. There have been so many brands that people in general love that I loathe. I've tried a couple from Mt. Baker and wasn't impressed. I do like Hawk Sauce but even that I have to leave the top off overnight to get rid of some of that chemical/artificial flavor. I am not a fan of Flavor West flavorings which is what I've been told they (at least primarily) use. I find them harsh and very "fake" tasting. So, no. You are not alone. It's a love or hate kind of thing.
