Good Morning Mt. Baker! Halfway through the week and I hope you all are having a good one! Start planning the weekend....going to Biloxi to see a baseball game here!!! Really though...wish it was to fish:(...anyway....at least I'll get Baseball food! Have a great day everyone!!!:toast:
I've been craving a good baseball game hot dog. I was thinking about maybe driving out to check out the Hoover Dam this weekend, or just exploring Northern Arizona a bit.

Recently stumbled across this interesting article - Nick Modi's "State of the Union" on Vape. I'll say first off that I never knew there was a news outlet for convenient stores and gas stations. But anyways, Mr. Modi here says that in the next year or two he expects to see a product good enough to convert pack a day smokers. With all of our recent vaping success stories, can't we say that this "product" is already here? What are your thoughts?

Recently stumbled across this interesting article - Nick Modi's "State of the Union" on Vape. I'll say first off that I never knew there was a news outlet for convenient stores and gas stations. In my humble opinion, Mr. Modi's analysis is full of speculation and his own assumptions. What he fails to consider is the quality of the product being offered in convenience stores and gas stations. They're not offering the Sigelei's, the Vamo's, the Innokins, etc., they are selling cheaply made Chinese junk that either fails to preform properly or just plain doesn't work. He talks about "hard core" one pack a day smokers not sticking with vaping and going back to cigarettes, increasing the sales of tobacco. I was a "hard core" 2 pack a day smoker, did the research, started with the right equipment, and have NEVER looked back in the 2 1/2 years I've been vaping. If I could do it...anyone can. His opinion is biased and skewed, which is why as vapers we MUST help and educate newbies to the right equipment and the maintenance of that equipment to help ensure their success....but hell....what do I know? I'm just a crusty old archaeologist who plays in the dirt for a living..........;)

Every Friday we're highlighting a new vaping success story on our blog. Today, we're sharing Molly's:

"Today, I’m over 2 years smoke free and proud of it. Not only that, I’ve lowered my nicotine levels with simple equipment down from 54 mg to 6mg nicotine. My lungs thank me as they are totally clear. My husband thanks me as I don’t always have to stop and smoke. My son thanks me as there is no smell, no tar, no ash. It’s the best thing I ever did for myself."

Today in the blog, Tim takes a look at The Future of Vaping. He rounded up some of the best speculation on where the industry is headed from top thinkers around the world including this quote from Herbert Gilbert (inventor of the first electronic cigarette):

“I predict that the continuing ongoing growth of scientific knowledge proving that tobacco kills while e-cigs save lives can only result in even more millions of lives being saved…and that is my prediction based on simple logic. When people learn and comprehend the difference, they will stop killing themselves with tobacco, and switching to ecigs will provide a proven and scientifically recognized way to do just that.”

What does everyone else think about the future of vaping?
