Yee Haw! Hawk Sauce is back in favor.

When we discovered Mt. Baker Vapor, we were using cigalikes (my daughter and I had both quit smoking around 9 years ago, started vaping around 3 years ago when stress and cravings were getting to be too much for us to handle). My daughter decided to order Hawk Sauce because she liked the name. It quickly became her "go to" flavor when stress was getting to be too much for her. Hawk Sauce was the absolute one flavor that we had to have on hand for her at all times.

When we switched to Evods around February/March 2014, she started noticing that she was not enjoying the Hawk Sauce as much. We were using the original Evod tanks, Protank 2 Minis, or Evod Glass with Kanger single coils. She just was not getting the same satisfaction she had when using Hawk Sauce with the cigalikes.

Earlier this month, I had to order her a couple of more Evod Glass tanks (she works, and is a bit hard on hardware). She decided to try the dual coils that came with the new Evod Glass tanks, and told me that she is enjoying increased flavor with the dual coils. She decided to try some of the Hawk Sauce that she has on hand, and Hawk Sauce is now back to being her "go to" flavor to take to work and use at other stressful times.

My original plan when we switched to Evods was to use the single coils exclusively in all our equipment. My daughter and her boyfriend are not as interested in finding out more about different aspects of vaping as I am. They just want something that works, which is fine, and since most of the vape budget comes out of my disposable income, it works for me. Because my daughter and her boyfriend both work (I am retired) I also try to be very aware of their preferences as far as anything I can control.

Since my daughter has expressed a preference for the Kanger dual coils, we are now switching to dual coils for our Evod Glass tanks. Hawk Sauce is now back in the preferred eliquid pantheon.

I am so very happy that we seem to have solved the Hawk Sauce problem, and that my daughter has her Hawk Sauce back.

This is a great story, thanks for sharing! I'm glad to know that Hawk Sauce is now back on the menu. It's great that you have found a combination of hardware that works for you. There is even more flavor to be had with sub-ohm and more advanced setups too. Your story here is pretty interesting you should consider submitting it to our customer vaping success stories, there's a chance you could be featured in the blog and win some free juice. I'm sure people would love to read it. Vaping Success Stories Archives - Mt Baker Vapor

Now that's a setup! I'm loving those labels too, did you make them? Also, really dig that wrap on the IVP.
And you can never have enough frozen h20 chunks in liquid h20, haha. Great post, thanks for sharing.

Stealth vaping is something that we have been debating for a long time. If no one notices you vaping somewhere you shouldn't be is it okay? What happens if you get caught? Some of us think you should never stealth vape, while others of us think it's okay depending on the situation. What are your thoughts? This is just one of the many topics we discussed in this weeks podcast. Ownlife Vapor 48 - Stealth Vaping

Well...I do tend to stealth with my evods if I'm out and about where smoking is frowned upon. I am very discreet, my coffee tends to be very hot when I'm out to dinner, blowing on it generally releases my vapor...:sneaky:

I do usually peruse the area to see if anyone has noticed, but generally no one does...xcept the one guy in the grocery store who walked up to me and asked me how I liked that thing? Holding a can of beans in my hand I was rather confused and he said vaping.. at that time I said loving it, 4 years smoke free and handed him a ecf card..

yeah tootle poofers -

We are pro tootle poofing! And I've actually seen people vaping while out to dinner and get away with it, though it's not something I do.

This is something we've been saying for awhile now.
Just don't be a jerk and try to have optimal situational awareness as well as common courtesy.

Check up at the doctor's office yesterday:

Stepped out to the hallway a few times while in the waiting room.
My wife toots on her Provari in there and nobody's said anything but I don't do it.
I hit my subox about a dozen times while in the checkup room while waiting for the doctor.
She didn't notice (or didn't comment about) that the room smelled like MBV Butterscotch.

I stealth in empty isles in the supermarket, Walgreens, Autozone, etc. No harm.
I have no problem making clouds in public but I don't do it in stores/etc.

So, basically if no one is going to see you do it you'll vape? I guess that's the whole point, that no one notices. I for one find I get a little nervous in public areas if I try to vape. I just don't like the extra attention it seems to bring me, I like to fly under the radar as it were.
