Ok, a couple of us are looking at trying out mount baker and due to PG allergies we need to exercise a 100% VG option. What is troubling us is there are two options on the site that give us 100 % VG - or a 70% VG/30% h20 choice. That's gotta be there for a reason.

So how thick is Mount Baker's 100% VG? Just not gonna work in a carto at all? Our frame of reference is The Vapor Room 100% VG liquid which is pretty thick, but can still work in cartos without diluting it.

Hiya, James! I'm trying to make a rather large first order, as is my friend. We both need 100% VG, and are trying to decide between the 100% VG and the 70% vg 30% water... is there any way to get more like 10% water? i don't want incredibly thick vg, like straight out of the rts bin, but I don't think I want 30% water in there either, as I'm worried about vapor and flavor. I use filler cartos, like resurrectors, a, sometimes in a DCtank, and my friend drips, primarily. Do you have a recommendation?Thank you! Sure hope you or some one who buys your juices sees this soon! lol Don't want to miss out on the sale. ;)

rofl.. guess my buddy posted, too... he's the one above me. lol

honestly, I have never used 100% VG...however I would think it would be ok to order-and if it were too thick you can then cut it with a few drops of distilled water or PGA. That is what I think I would do. Again, never ordered it 100% before though. Hopefully James sees this soon :)

Of course we know we can do that. But different vendors have quite a broad range of what they offer in thickness when it comes to VG. And the fact that Mount Baker is putting right out there an option cut with 30% h2o is what's making us wonder if their 100% VG is REALLY thick to begin with. On one end of the scale you have very thin 100% VG from DK. On the other end of the scale VG from some places that is uncut 100% glycerin - which is just silly if not unvapabale as-is.

You know our 100% USP grade kosher VG is thick. I do not know how anyone smokes it but a lot people order it. If you know how to add a couple drops of distilled water to make it work if its to thick then I would do that.

The stuff cut with 30% H20 is for my vaping newbies. That blend came around because I had one local customer allergic to VG. As soon as you cut VG with distilled water you get a really thin mix. Thinner then 100% PG. This is due to the reaction that takes places when mixing VG and water. It still vapes well though and people like it so I just kept it there.

Since you guys know what is going on go with the 100% VG. I do not know if its to thick to smoke but if you are looking for thick juice as soon as you cut the VG with water it really thins out. Regardless of if it was 10% H20 or 30% H20 I have a feeling that it would end up at the same exact consistency. Order the 100% VG and give it a shot.

Thanks for the coupon code James. Placed an order a few minutes ago, can't wait to try some new flavors.

Any time enjoy your new flavors! Remember to review them on the site after you give them a try! :D

I am right there with you. I myself hate working with 100% VG it slows everything down so much. I do offer it though because I know people are allergic to PG and they have the right to vape to!

100% VG is uncut. It is thick it flows so slowly its annoying. People do order it all the time though. They must be smoking it.

Thanks James for the coupon code on top of your already great prices. I didn't really need any more juice but I couldn't pass up such a good deal and I get to try some new flavors!

Glad you gave the code a use. Thanks for your order!

Thanks so much! I appreciate your responses both here and on the 'contact us'. I'm all set and placing order. Crossing fingers!!!

Hope you enjoy the juices! I use 2 main vendors-this one and one other for my all day yummyness :) I admit to hearing about other vendors and trying them out occasionally but i always come back to these. Unfortunately I have quite a stockpile and hubby and I agreed that we need to use them up before buying more juices! It is more difficult than I thought, controlling the urge to shop shop shop!

Thank you for getting back to us James. Your explanation helps us understand what's going on with your process and what we can expect for our first time orders. It's hard for us PG allergic people to find 100% VG, let alone good 100% VG. I'd rather it be different but I have a genuine allergy to PG and don't have a choice there.

So it looks like I'm gonna make you work with the 100 VG. But I did order a tank too! Does that count?

James, I gotta stick with the other one too! You have flavors he doesn't, and he has stuff you don't. It all works out :) You both have excellent customer service too. I like both vendors too much to drop either one! Just don't ever get rid of the spearmint ok?? LOL I love that stuff more than I thought I would!

Tomorrow gets to be another ruby red grapefruit kinda day i think-or maybe the yellow cake juice...hmmmm. I should probably go through all the other vendor juices I have that I won't be reordering and use them up first but I gotta use the stuff I really enjoy too! Maybe I just need to convince my sister and dad they like the juices I am not crazy about then I will have more room to order stuff ;)

It is not the customers fault and I will sell them whatever they order. I offer everything for a reason. Thanks for ordering the tank too! I would love to win over the full allergic to PG community and gain their business so it is always nice to have the insight from others. I am constantly reading and listening to what you guys want and need and I try to make everyone happy. Thank you very much for your order and I hope you enjoy your juice! Thank you for joining the MtBakerVapor family!

It is not a problem. There are plenty of other great shops out there and I in the world of vaping shops think I am still one of the smallest ones around. You know every vaper builds up a full stockpile of e juice its insane! Imagine having over 100 ++ flavors at your finger tips and deciding what to smoke! I still am pretty much a plain ol menthol vaper though but always try to give everything else a try.

I seem to enjoy the sweet stuff the best. However I do like fruity too! I have a huge tote (takes up the top of a filing cabinet) that is completely filled with juice at the moment! But they are all juices since we started vaping in November. Then another tote, same size, under it full of things like cartomizers, batteries, chargers, etc. Oh, and the silly altoid tin mods hubby just had to make!

For everyone saying this is cheaper than smoking....all I have to say is they must have greater willpower than I possess! I want to try everything!! :D

If this helps:

What we find, a lot, regarding 100% VG is that the majority of vendors simply don't carry any.

Some say they carry 100% VG. Uh-oh - there's a big fat asterisk. Asterisk says "may contain up to 20% PG." So it really only up to 80% VG. Sigh...

On the other, rather extreme end, I found one organic vendor who just assumed everyone "knew" organic equals 100% VG. Well, how hard would it be to spell that out in the otherwise glossy "about our products" section? Can't buy what you don't know. That leads to orders that don't get placed.

The number of places we find that carry 100 VG are very few and very far between. The one thing you all do have in common is easy, straightforward ordering for the 100 VG option and it's spelled out right there in the product selection options. And when we find a place like Mount Baker we thank you for that and pass the word along. (Us PG allergic types tend to gather in clumps and share our shopping secrets.)

So we love your type of shopping experience for VG liquids. Versus a few other places that will make it up. But first you have to ask if they even carry it. Then they tell you to just place an order for PG products, send them a separate e-mail asking them to make the order up as VG instead after you place the order, hope that e-mail actually connects with your order... Too much work - and a little scary - for someone with an allergy.

But I didn't know until today that 100 VG could be a pain to work with.

The only reason VG is a pain to work with is because its thick and slow. In the grand scheme of things not very many people order it so when the order comes in it just takes a little bit of extra time. I guess it is not really a pain just a little more time consuming. I would not complain if I had 500 customers and all they wanted was VG juice though so bring them on! :)

 aargh!@!! I had a limited budget and the Ruby Red Grapefruit, Yellow Cake, and Gummy Bear were the ones I had to leave on the shelf! rofl Of course two of those would be amazing, right? lol I have rotten sale karma. But still got an exceedingly good deal and we're so excited about our new juices. The ones I kept were ounce each of the Bavarian Cream, Cinn Danish, and 'make it yourself' strawberry cheesecake with a little gingerbread, and half ounce of the gingerbread and Sugar Cookie.

Oh, and a suggestion for you... Put together all of your juices that you really don't enjoy, write down all the data for each, vendor, ml, nic etc, and list them in a single lot in the ecf classifieds. You can name your price... i usually aim for about 65% - $70% of retail so you're giving them a good deal. You'd be amazed...every time I've done it the lot has sold quickly, and then you can take that money and get the stuff you know you love at mt baker vapor. I loved it, cause i had major guilt buying new stuff with all those unused liquids, but I reaaaaallly didn't like vaping the crummy stuff. ;)

And James... I'm amazed and astounded you're getting all orders from a sale out next day! Just so you know, that almost never happens. Its great that you do it, but our goal is to make you so busy you're hopping for many days after the sale. lol So far, tried about 30-40 vendors and the two I've enjoyed most both started tiny and ended up super popular, so hoping that happens on your end, too! ;)
