Oh wow, so lots of good changes coming soon! You know what i've noticed a decided lack of? Solid 'beginner' videos. Seriously, I 'convert' a lot of people to vaping, and there's like 2 not so great vids on all of youtube that show someone intro to an ego! Tons on vaping with them, but none that even identify what the different parts are, and how to put the thing together and use it! lol For a bunch of the populace its common sense, but that leaves out a whole lot of others, who just don't have intuition for that sort of thing. I couldn't believe it. I'd say the perfect intro would walk them through the ego kit, using cartridges (yuck, but they do come with some of the kits), using basic carto like a boge 2.0 or a resurrector 1.7ohm, dripping w atty and drip tip, and using tanks for something like an EgoC. Perhaps in series, like a) intro to ego, using your cartridges b) 510 cartos and dripping (including different fill methods) c) ego c tanks d) pg/vg and percentage of nic liquid, mah on batteries, ohms on cartos... the basic math of vaping etc. Anyway, that's content that is SERIOUSLY lacking. I've been meaning to do something basic like that, because again, I need them pretty often when I'm getting a new person started vaping. Guessing esp if you can get a film student involved, you'd be able to do a much better production value. I can sit in front of a camera, basically, but have no knowledge of even basic editing. Plus, based on the hardware you carry, those would be very useful for someone just starting out, or who hand't really gotten the complex functions worked out yet, or someone who's totally comfortable with ego level, and doesn't feel the need to move up into much more complex mods.
Second, I'm into vv mods but I've been vaping close to 3 years. Your upgrade option is a terrific option for someone loving their ego! I know a bunch of people who got a basic ego/ego clone 650 mah kit, then had to turn around and buy an ego c kit, so your way is much more cost effective.
Lastly, I wrote an 'intro to vaping' guide for new people quite a while back, just to get into step by step instructions on how to do some super basic functions. Main reason I did that is because theres NO decent content for brand new vapers online. In other words, there's nothing that would get them from go to the point where they could do main functions, from dripping to cleaning an atty, and identifying basic types of cartos and what would work for them. So in terms of content, that's what's missing, imo. Would be amazing to have that all in a beginners 'series', or something that would eliminate the need to practically live on ecf the first few mos that they're vaping, like we all had to do. That's where we lose em back to smoking, I'm all but certain of it. So I wrote that guide, with lots of links to individual videos, but I need to update it a bit, in terms of suppliers and some hardware, but it assumes someone is starting out with a sort of ego kit, because it really is the perfect way to start out for just about anyone, and for many people, the only pv they ever need. Once I update that I'll give you a link... its pretty detailed, about 35 pages of everything from pg/vg blend to nic level and basic intro to diy. So if you're ever looking for suggestions on videos, I've done quite a bit of thinking about what content is lacking, esp for the type of vaper your hardware is ideal for, simply cause I've had to fill in those holes with private instruction for a big handful of new vapers I've gotten rolling. Yell out if you're ever looking for ideas.
