Good early Morning guys.
Can't sleep. Just wanting to say I'm feeling a little like a chicken to make my first coil. But I think I truly may try tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. Hopefully I can get it to the reading I want to see. I'm not into sub-ohming Wish me Luck.

Happy :vapor:

Hello misfits :)

Good luck Sherry  As long as you check your coil(s) with the multimeter, you should be okay. I ruined several before I really got the hang of it, so keep at it if you don't succeed at first. I'm sending good juju your way....

Have a great Wednesday misfits!

Thanks Stoneface. But mercy. I've got a lot of practicing to do. The first coil looked so nice. Then I checked it on the meter it said like 5.09 or something like that. I was like um... No. Let's try that again. So I trimmed it out a little I mean it only had like maybe 3 coils if that much to finally register at 2.5. But I finally got it to 2.1. Then when I loaded it on to my MVP it was 1.9 ohms. So I still have some playing around to do. I used a 1 1/16 little drill bit to wrap with. I just made to many wraps I think I had 5. I was using the Igo L. That I got the person I got it from sent it with some Kathal. Not sure the actual size of that tho. But I'm about to order some in the next few days. This was just enough to try things out. Just to see if I could do it. However once I did get the coils right an to the 2.1 ohm. It was just to hot to vape not sure what was up with that. Like I said I still have some learning to do. To make it perfect. ;)
So keep sending the Good juju my way :)

It's not unusual to get a reading from the multimeter that differs from a PV. Don't forget that when you test with the multimeter, you should touch the leads to each other and subtract that amount from your coil reading...it is often around .2Ω.

With the IGO-L, I wrap my microcoils to have long legs so that the coil sits way out at the edge of the cup, close to the airhole in the cap. I then make sure to line the airhole up right next to the coil when I put the cap on. Give that a try when you can.

Keep at it, wrap a few coils and don't worry about "wasting" wire (it's not a waste if you're learning as you go, IMO), and you'll get it I promise :)

Since things are moving a little slow around here, I'll chime in.
After a little tinkering with the new Kayfun lite plus clone I can't seem to put it down. All my myriad of juices I thought were meh at best are gonna need another try in this thing. Wow. It's a little large for carrying around, but the vape is outstanding, consistent, and trouble free. Flavors just pop. It holds nearly 4 ml, and is a bit of a pain to change juice in, but once it's full of good stuff you're set for the day. or 2.

The solar flare, caramel candy, and green apple doctored with a little spearmint are working out very nicely. I've sinced subscribed to the kayfun lite forum. Vaping is such an adventure.....

I watched maybe 15 youtubes on builds. All were just perfect, completely different, and all over the map with wicks and wires and gauges and cute tricks. Everybody was blowing clouds that would clog a freeway. I gleaned a little from each and my first build was fantastic.

Some guys should not be allowed to have a camera.
I think I may need a 2nd job to accommodate a new hobby. Got some 555 perking just now, and thinking about my next order.
