I got my first order today, haven't tried any, not sure about steeping. I have been mostly DIY, but there seemed to be such positive reviews I wanted to give them a try. I ended up going with Blu-Bacco, Hawk Sauce, Bubble Gum, Banana Foster and they threw in a Melon Mint. The Hawk Sauce smells incredible I think I may have to try that one first.

Any suggestions on steeping for any of these flavors?

Holy balls, I finally completed my check out. Took me long enough! My final order was:

Cinnamon Roll
Butterscotch
Vanilla Butternut
Solar Flare
Candy Cane
Pineapple Upsidedown Cake
Blue Moo
Strawberry Shortcake
Spurburry
Green Apple

I got everything in 20PG/80VG and 4 shots, with the minty/menthol ones with 3 shots. I requested Extreme Ice or Caramel Candy for my freebie. So much stuff I still want to try but this will do for now. I know 4 shots is probably a lot but because of the higher VG and my fear of having juice that is too light in flavor, I decided to just get extra and I will dilute it if needed. I'm gonna order some additional small empty bottles to fill up with some juice so my friends who recently got into vaping can sample some. And so now I wait.

You can vape Hawk Sauce and Cucumber Mint out of the mailbox, but they will get better in a week or so. I haven't had Bubble Gum or Bananas Foster. I've read that all of the tobaccos require at least a month's steep.

EDIT: Congratulations on placing the order Kyi :) You'll probably get it in 2 or 3 days, so it won't be a long wait...

Another member, Sean, has written the definitive guide on "steepage"

What I didn't see any melon mint on the site! It sounds good. Let us know how it is.

Thanks so glad the Hawk Sauce was one of those. Sad that I have to wait a month for the Blu-bacco, this is my 1st tobacco blend.

Sorry Kyi, it's actually Cucumber Mint. I guess I was thinking Cucumber Melon and Melon is what came out. Not sure how I am going to feel about a Cucumber flavored juice, but will give it a try within a few day and give it a review.

My first order from MBV arrived today. I am impressed, they even threw in a free sample of Cucumber Mint - I didn't know about the free sample! Nice surprise. I ordered five flavors and have sampled two so far - Cinnamon Roll and Vanilla Butternut. Both are VERY good, fresh from the mailbox, so I can only imagine (hope) how good they will soon be. I will try the others tomorrow and see how much more steep time is needed. Thank you all for the suggestions. MBV is half the price of the juices I normally use so this will help a ton with adding in some variety! Appreciate your help!

Lol I LOVE the Cucumber Mint curiosity. Just give it a shot. I've been really happy with my sample on a Kayfun Lite/Nemesis combo. This flavor likes HOT coils, btw.

As for steeping, I put my new juices in tightly-sealed plastic bags and steep them in a bowl of hot water from the tap for about 5 hours. After that, I take them out, uncap them, and let them air out in a dark closet/drawer for another 24 hours. After that, recap and wait about another week or two and they're good to go. Some juices may require longer than a couple weeks...maybe up to a month.

I had to share
If you like a mildly sweet light vape.
Initial review Vanilla Butternut one extra shot no steep orgasmic; I got Cantaloupe all VG maybe slight chemical taste light not too sweet just right.
I did a while back order Butter Pecan, for me it's a taste that has to grow on you mixed with Peanut Butter makes an interesting vape.
I did inquire about Honey Dew with a chat rep, he said extra shots on that can give it a strong chemical taste.
I will be ordering Honeydew when back in stock

Got my order today!!

I've tried 3 of them so far.....

Blue Moo: So so...think I need to let it steep awhile
Butterscotch: Also so so, letting it steep

How long have people typically been letting MBV juices steep for?

Custom mix: Candy Cane, Whipped Cream & White Chocolate: LOVE! Tho next time I think I will do one less part candy cane so the other flavors can step forward a little. I'll reconsider that as it steeps, but I am sure this will be a reorder for me when it runs out. I've been vaping it since the mailman brought it!

I noticed that most vendors have their signature "funk" after taste. And it really bums me out when all I can taste is funk when everyone else raves about the flavors. So i've just pretty much accepted that there's something wrong with my tastebuds and blame it on 25 years of smoking

The first time I tried Blue Moo, i did not like it at all. So I put it away periodically taking the cap on / off, shaking it and tried it again after a month or so. The flavors are now blended well and I can taste blueberry creaminess and just a slight hint of funk on the exhale. I'll keep steeping it and see if it does better. I probably won't get this one again bec. in my humble opinion steeping for more than a month is just way too long and not worth my time to make any juice palatable when there's tons of juices that are good out of the mail.

As for Butterscotch, it was good for me out of the mail and is in my daily rotation.

I completely agree with that, ValHeli. Although I would add that MBV is one of the vendors I've tried that has the least amount of "funk" aftertaste to their juices. I also find that mints and menthols seem to have less of that flavor for me...maybe whatever molecule that provides the coolness tempers the off-flavor??

:toast: to that!. I'm glad to hear I'm not alone. and I totally agree with you about mint / mentholated flavors! I HATE menthol cigs.. but developed a taste for them in vaping probably bec. I don't detect an chemical aftertaste "funk". Hawksauce for example... I FREAKIN LOVE IT. that I had to reorder 2x 30mls.. out of the mail, no funk, ADV.

the only way I can describe the MBV funk is like it's a faint old musty, moldy, taste.. usually goes away after a month of steeping.

I don't know if any of you folks have tried Roar vapors but to me they have the signature "incense" aftertaste.

For me, the MBV aftertaste is a slightly chemical off-flavor that hits me on the back of the tongue. It's not especially horrible to my palate, just mildly disagreeable. I have had other juices, however, that I couldn't get past the initial taste test.

FWIW, I've also had horrible aftertastes from flavorings when I've DIYed my juices. For example, I can't stand the TFA/TPA flavorings, and I only figured that out after I bought a crap ton of them
