Not impressed at all with mvb. ordered 555, Thug juice and Pear. 555 is so so, thug could be better if menthol was not overwhelming, and Pear definitely tastes like acetone. One week steeping and no improvement. Customer service is #1, though.

1 week isn't enough for most juices. The general recommendation is 3-4 weeks for made-to-order juice. Synthetic tobaccos take significantly longer than that.

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to wait that long once my juices get here lol

You just have to build up a stash & order a month ahead.

I typically make 1 big order at the beginning of each month (well, a few orders from different vendors, but all on the same day). I'm busy vaping the December left-overs & stuff from the January orders while the February juices are aging. I'll start pulling those out when I make the March orders. Easy peasy. :)

I add banana to the foster all the time, but mostly to keep my coils from gunking because of the dark color of the foster. I still get the taste of the banana foster quite well. I had to let the foster steep a long time(3 wks.) before it tasted right.--Hawk

I think that my foster is as close as it's going to get, taste a little more banana then nuts now, but still a little more nutty then I think that it should be. Again, the flavor is good, and it's a nice smooth vape and I know that I will use it all up. But I was checking the past post to see if I could determine when I got it and how long I let it steep and I notice in this post you indicated that yours is dark in color, mine is not dark at all, kind of a slight golden yellow. Maybe mine actually isn't banana foster.

It's always hard to wait when your getting new flavors, but I am hoping that once I find what my tried and true
flavors are going to be, then it will be more like restocking because it's so hard to wait. I've had some that were ready out of the mail and others that really needed that few weeks.

Been having problems with my sinus's so I decided to try a 20%PG/80%vg to see if that will help. Been doing 60PG/40VG. Got some bottles today and tried a few drops in a 510 atomizer and the initial results were great. Incredible vapor and very slight throat hit, which I like. Great flavor. My question is there a difference in steep times between PG heavy juice and VG heavy juice? How much more will the VG juice clog my coils. I use ARO single bottom coil tanks and also aspire dual coil bottom tanks. Any opinions are appreciated.--Hawk--

Higher VG levels will take longer to steep. Dunno about the coils. I vape 50/50 in rebuildables with some 65/35 here and there. I use 65/35 in all my coil tanks just because it wicks better.

I don't think these 3 specific flavors are going to improve with longer steeping. 555 is the less bad, pear is pure acetone! That will not change with steeping. Just horrible flavor.

Finally got to the end of this thread! Thanks to everyone staying on topic! I have about 25 flavors from them that I will review. Today I made: Strawberry, Dragon Fruit, Watermelon & Moo Juice. 5ml samples, All mixed @15%Flv (.78grms) 50/50pgvg 12mg. I tried strawberry before I left for work and it was good. 20minutes in UC. I'm excited to try the Hawk sauce, so many like it. Anyone else here making there own juice?

I also have a bunch of flavors from FlavorArt. These are my first DIY.

Yup, been mixin' probably in the neighborhood of 10 months or so, averagin' between 800ml to a liter a month currently...

I mix Hawk at 16% 50/50 which is as best as I can tell equivalent to +2 shots, yummy :)

vap70--My foster is very dark, always has been. I do get 5 flavor shots but I don't know if that makes a difference in color. Did you add a little banana to increase the banana flavor? Happy vaping--Hawk

I did add some ripe banana to it, but I really think that this might be some type of Banana Nut rather then Banana Foster, I only had one extra flavor shot, but no darkness to mine at all, very pale yellow, but it's still good, super smooth.

Well it's always been my understanding that VG isn't as good as a carrier of flavor as PG. I happen to prefer a much smoother vape, less throat hit, so I tend to stay around 20pg 80vg, and after I get a feel what "normal" flavoring is will opt for extra flavor shots and the reality that it's going to need to steep longer, hearing that it has something to do with the different molecule sizes between PG & VG which is why one is thicker then the other I suppose.

I don't really know about the coil thing, I use CF4S, I hated the mini protank as it muted all flavors I tried. I have been using the same CF4's (usually have 4 or 5 different flavors going at once) for over a month and a half on many of them, soak and rinse in hot water, and let dry, every time I have tried to dry burn, it has bit me in the .... I can see a dry burn when you can replace the wicks, but if can't then it seems as though it just burns the wicks and then you have that burnt taste. IDK

I don't know that the VG is near as hard on the coils as the specific flavors themselves. I hear some of the flavors that can be tank crackers can be hard on coils and a lot of the sweeter vapes can be harder on coils.

Give it a chance and just set it aside caps off. That's the same thing I said when I got Moo juice and Blue Moo but they became pretty tasty after a few weeks of steeping.

Yup. I've even had juices that didn't taste like anything at all turn into flavor bombs with some aging. It's crazy what some flavors will do with a little bit of time.
