I have a D2 intellicharger and I'm not sure what's going on. For one, the charger will stop charging and show batteries at 4.2 volts. But when I check them with my multimeter, they're not quite 4.2. Is that normal? And secondly, I noticed the reading on my multimeter doesn't match the charger. Charger says 3.72, multimeter says 3.66...? Do I just have a subpar charger or is something wrong with my meter?

Right off the charger, multimeter shows 4.13

So the multimeter always reads around 0.06 volts lower than the chargers meter. IMO it's not likely the charger is putting out batteries at 4.13V, but it is possible. Really, the only way to know for sure is to find another meter and see if two of the three read the same. If you don't have a friend with one, check with vape shops in your area.

Having said that, even if the charger was stopping at 4.13V, the only thing that wold do is leave you slightly low on charge. Your batteries would last longer and there are no safety issues with this.
