Yeah, I love all the posts that say, I got this meter from HF and it's seems very accurate. Accurate? Compared to what? Did you compare it to a recently calibrated, high-end meter? What do the specs say? ......specs, what specs?
I would say avoid the super cheap ones. Spend around $15+ to get accuracy. You can look at the specs usually & it should tell you the degree of accuracy. Ohm's accuracy is a sign of a decent meter.
Just skip all the crappy stuff in bins, etc. If you see a few models, go for the middle one. Make sure it's digital & not analog.
