Multiple battery charger? 5+ at once?

Does anyone know if any US vendor sells a multiple battery charger for the kr8's. I noticed this desktop unit for the 510 batteries but I have yet to find a kr8 equivalent.

If no one sells them, Any tips of suggestions for safely converting one for use with the kr808?

I have not found one yet, but this announcement from V4L seems to indicate that they have a multicharger in the works:

Just a suggestion, I dunno anything about volts and watts and stuff, but could you put 808 to 510 adapters on the batteries and use them on that?

both cignot and heaven gifts have a 10 slot 510 multi charger...and I converted half to work with KR808D-1 batteries...

I just used 901/808 battery to 510 atty adapters...works just fine...

Exactly what I was hoping to hear, someone who has tried it successfully. Who has the best prices on adapters these days?

Also, do you accidentally unscrew the adapters from the charger when you remove the batteries? Seems like that would happen.

I got the adapters at madvapes for $2.49 apiece...
I was actually screwing the adapters tight onto the battery so they were coming out yeah...buy you could probably screw them tight into the charger and they'd stay unless you really torqued the battery down...occasionally I've had adapters that stayed in even when I didnt want them to...but theres a tiny little lip enough to grab the edge of the adapter barely with some needle nose to get em out...
I like the 10 slot charger better by the way...just a couple dollars more than the TW 5 slot (10 slot was $28from cignot)... and it has a 10 slot rack behind it to store the batteries when charged (or atties but you dont use atties) and has a couple of screw slots in case you wanted to mount it to the back wall of a desk or something..

I imagine it's totally safe to leave the adapters on the charger permanently. I might just do that. Thanks for the advise on the 10 slot Drozd!

I wish I had a better idea when V4L planned to release their multi-charger. I don't want to go to all the trouble or making one and have it be released the next day.

I sure wish that I would have seen this thread before ordering 2 more single chargers. I looked amd looked for a muticharger for the 808s.
Oh well. I guess that I will make due with 3 chargers for awhile.

I was so aggravated with trying to keep batteries charged for 2 people and just 1 charger that I went ahead and ordered one of these and the adaptors. I think that lots of folks would stop the analogs alot quicker if the batteries lasted longer or you could muti charge. I know that you can get a bigger and better mod but most folks don't start out with one. Thanks for posting this, Adrockr. It helped me out alot.

I have a USB hub on my computer, which allows me to charge up to 7 batts at a time. the hub only cost about $7, and is available at any electronic supplier.

I also have a charger for the car, and an adapter to turn that charger into one that plugs into any electrical outlet.

Unfortunately I have an older computer. Pass throughs don't work at all (not enough power) and it takes forever to charger batteries. Once I receive this setup I will be able to charger 8 batteries at a time. I also have 2 PCCs but have to charge them on USB port and takes awhile.

you'd want a 901 battery to 510 atty adapters.... they're like $2.49 each at madvapes

I got my charger and adapters from Totally Wicked. Wasn't worth paying extra shipping to get charger from them and adpters from another.

I had been looking for a multiple charger myself... it gets kind of old after awhile to have the batts charging in every outlet. I tried out the Totally Wicked mega charger with the adapters and it works like a charm. It was easy to put together and aside from one adapter continuing to want to unscrew from the charger when I take a battery off, this has been perfect. It is a heck of a lot more organized to do this when I am getting ready for work.

and: 901 Battery to 510 Atomizer adapter

there are other places to get both if you wanna shop around ....for example TW has a 5 battery one for the same price... the adapter just needs to be a 901/808 battery to 510 atty adapter (you'd need 1 per battery or port)
