mushroom hunting today..

my last trip turned into salamander and snake hunt.. got to the area i hunt at and it was kind of dry there..

found a very fresh deer kill at one spot that i go to all the time.. bones where bit through and was fresh enough that no maggots hatched out yet.. so either pack of coyotes or wolves in that area.. bones where spotless only meat left on it was a bit on the head

Dogs and pigs are the best devices for finding morels in the woods.

If you get really good at it, you can make some major money selling them as "specialty mushrooms".

Yum!!!

I should be getting out there but life in general is putting up some roadblocks.
AND I love morels!!!

went out again today.. after the rain stopped still nothing in the areas that I have found them in..

nephew caught his first frog today.. picked it up and gave the thing a big kiss on its head.. and said nothing is happening.. cant get this computer to pull the pictures off my cell though
