Hi all,

Done some searching and haven't found anything definitive. Can the Mutant 26650 be fitted with a Kick?

When it arrives on the slow boat from China, I'll be using it with an Aerotank Giant (1.5 - 1.8 coils) and a kayfun Lite, coil builds in the same range. Not interested in sub-ohm'ing or cloud chasing, just want a nice, reliable setup - HOPEFULLY with an added Kick to keep the battery around 3.7. I should note I've got a small wood/metal shop available so if all the module needs is a ring to secure it, I can likely make it.

Kicks are made for 18xxx mods.

If you were to use a 26500 cell and make something to attach the grounding prongs of the kick to the body of the mod it could work, but its a lot more trouble than what it is worth IMO.

Just use the mod as is. If you know what you are doing you have a much more advanced safety feature than anything you can buy, your brain.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm not sure if I'm being overly cautious here (if there is such a thing), but given the VapeBlast incident I'd rather ask here and now, rather than from the burn ward. Putting the kick compatibility aside, are there any issues I need to be aware of here?

As I said, Aerotank Giant w/ 1.5 and 1.8 ohm coils, and I'll be shooting for the same with the Kayfun Lite. Also, MNKE 26650 IMR batteries on an Efest LUC charger.

I was looking at the Kick module more as a safety feature - bonus if it were to slot straight into the Mutant. I use an MVP 2.0 at the moment and it only moves from 3.7v when I want to dial down the harshness in the morning. So VV/VW is an afterthought. I'm really asking whether I've bought a Mutant or a pipebomb. :D

Looks-wise, the E-Huge does nothing for me - it looks like the the result of Darth Vader outsourcing production of the Empire's Light Sabers to a chinese factory.

1. With an aero tank you won't need a kick.
The coils have resistance high enough to be safe.

2. If you feel the need for added protection, a 26650 mechanical wouldn't be my suggested device.

Decide what type of vape you want first.
If you use aero tanks and pre built cool heads you should IMHO look for devices that are designed for tanks like those.
Mechanicals can fire anything but they aren't fling to give you an optimal experience on a 26650 mechanical mod.

If you are set on 26xxx devices, the E Huge is an option.
I'd personally opt for a Hanna 30 clone.
