Yeah, the afc tabs are a little sharp but damn man! Cut yourself with it? Really? I must be handling mine differently as I have nary a scratch on my hands from using it. I only touch the drip tip when handling the top cap.

Just pulled the trigger on this one myself. The V1 has been my go to since I purchased it, it's easier to work with and performs better than RDA's I have that cost 4 times as much. Looking forward to firing up the new version.

Just got mine in today, I absolutely love it lol. Put in a dual clapton, 24g core 30g clapton 4 wraps around a 2.5mm screwdriver, coming out to .24Ω... Have the airflow almost closed off and the flavor/vapor is amazing. Super easy to build on, and the triangle head screws weren't as bad as I thought. The key feels like it's made of steel or something stronger than aluminium, so that's a definite plus. Still wish it was regular phillips head screws, but oh well. Can't wait for my kanthal order to come in so I can play with some lower resistance builds and wide open airflow

posted this in another thread, but thought I would put it here too.....

I got my mutation x v2 yesterday and I'm really happy with it. The t block on the positive post is almost worth the total cost of the RDA... Good improvement over the v1. I also like the super wide drip tip that it comes with, and the new airflow control. I'm really impressed that the new airflow control along with the wide drip tip create even better flavor than the v1.

Two cons for this device are the triangle head screws, and the drip tip tolerance. I'm all about good tolerances, but DANG! It took me about 10 minutes to force the drip tip in, and it isn't even straight.

The triangle screws are a pain because you have to use that stupid tool that it came with to tighten your leads, but the do not back out AT ALL...

Overall I am happy. This is the first and only time I have purchased two versions of one product....

I vaped the v1 and v2 right next to each other with the exact same build and I like the v2 even better.

.18 build in mine and it hits like a champ. Even if you close down the airflow with the massive tip it barely gets warm.

Anybody got both this and CLT v2 plus? How do they compare? I got a mutation v2 waiting in my mailbox. I saw the frankenstein version of these two atties(along with Vertex af slots)on eBay.. not sure if that was the "Super" version. Questionable on the quality also.
