mvp 2.0 question

Im using my mvp as a ohm meter and it keeps reading aoa when i check my resistance im using 28 gauge 7-8 wraps ,wrapping on a 2.5 mm screwdriver. Any ideas why

Are you aure its not NON? What kind of atty? Is the 510 pin adjustable?

It might be n.o.n. cant really tell , its a veritas clone

It's NON, the 510 connection pin is probably not making good contact. Either adjust the veritas (don't have one, don't know if you can) or take a very small flat-head skill screw driver and gently pry up the pin in the center of the 510.

That is the biggest PITA with MVPs, that 510.Hopefully, they have fixed that with the MVP3. I have a Dovpo DT50, very much like an MVP, huge internal battery, but it goes up to 50 watts and the 510 is a dream to adjust, just a Phillips head.

Hey Jersey!

Probably likely that the center pin isn't making good contact. Make sure the connectors are clean and dry. Your build should land you about 1.5 ohms. Other thing - are your connections tight on the veritas? I've had funky readings when I don't have the ends tightened properly on the build deck....
