Don't make the stupid mistake I made with my MVP.
Read all the advice on charging before it drains and shuts itself off and plugged into USB when it got down to 3.6.
Not sure if I turned it off before putting it on charge or it shut itself off. Left it for a couple of hours and put my Nautilus tank back on and pressed the 'go' button.
Nothing happened ..suckin' my lungs out and cursing .. first charge and I thought I'd blown it somehow.
Watched a few more video reviews to see if anyone else had the same problem and was thinking its time to find the returns page on Amazon where I made the purchase.

It helps to make sure its TURNED ON before wasting time and lung power. :D

Hah I hate that! I though my Evods were DOA when I got em. Guess I should've read the manual first haha.

What I like most about the mvp is that the vv/vw buttons operate separately. So when I swap a 2.4 ohm clearomizer at 10 watts with a 2.0 ohm clearomizer or vice/versa, all I have to do is press the appropriate button. You'll find this feature handy when you have a iClear 30 and an Aspire Nautilus mini.

Those are my settings, your tastes may vary.

Thanks all for the info, appreciate it.
I have a protank mini in the mail as well a swell of others to test out. I have been looking at the Nautilus tanks....might be the next order.

When you turn off the MVP does the battery still drain, anyone know?
if you leave it plugged in even after it's fully charged, does it hurt the battery?...what do you think/know?

Haha had a good chuckle...did that a few times with my eGo Twist, wasn't turned on and thought it was, my heart skipped a beat til i noticed what was up LOL.

There will still be a small amount of drain on the battery. You're not really turning the MVP off, you're just disabling the button. It's still in standby mode waiting for you to push the button three times to turn it back on. It will stop charging once the battery is at full capacity, though being at max capacity does put extra stress on the battery, and this type of battery usually has a set amount of charge cycles built in. Charging also stresses the battery, and usually once you hit the charge cycle cap the battery will be disabled to prevent it from deteriorating to the point of being potentially unsafe. Personally I wouldn't top it off daily like some people do. I charge to 4.2 volts on the battery meter then unplug it before the charging light turns off. Then charge it when the battery meter get to 3.7-3.8 volts, or as soon as the indicator light turns yellow. I usually get about 3 days on a charge doing this.

Shatteredsoul, I too favorably compare my rebuilt ProTank coils with 30 kanthal and rayon to the new vertical coils by Aspire. Can't go as high in volts/wattage, but the flavor is equal between them.

However, the BVC's are pretty nifty if you're in a hurry or just lack the energy to rebuild a coil because life gets in the way. Matter of fact, just ordered some "replacement" vertical coils for Aspire tanks that AREN'T Nautilus. They are shorter than the Nauti's coils, and with an Anyvape adapter ring used to convert single coil to double coil use believe I can use these new BVC's on my Davides and ProTank 2's!

Cross your fingers and let's hope this works out. Am doing this more for the convenience factor than anything else because my rebuilds with the cellu cotton (rayon) and have been trying hemp lately have been spot on. :)
