I would assume don't over tighten them. I've had my mvp for 6 months with no problems. As I'm screwing it in as soon as I feel tension I stop. No quarter turn more, or make sure it's tight, I just stop.

Noalox I believe is a thread lubricant anti corrosion product that may help, but best way is to learn how to snug things down and not use a Torgue of say 100 inch pounds, lol.

It's not hard to cross thread device threads they are tapered after all, for easier catch.

You still have the eGo external threads you can use...TONS of decent looking tanks you can put on it that use the eGo threading

Mine did the same Dame thing I had my kayfun on it for 2 day and swapped it out with another kayfun and I guess it's stripped out now. Idk how or why everything has gone on it perfect but now nothing will screw down.

I've had mine 6 month's a long with mechs and a dna 20 it hasn't happened to any of them

It's sounding like they didn't anticipate it being used with heavier tanks than the iClears/protanks/etc. OP mentioned a Hypertank. The Kayfun looks heavier too. Just a wild guess.
