Has that button wobble been bugging you when you stand your MVP upright. Have you had your device flop over endangering your clearo? Well, it is a whole lot easier to fix than you might think. I bought a number 6 head and removed the bottom screws as I was going to sand the button receiver down to bring the button flush with the bottom as I had seen on a YouTube video. As I was taking it apart I remembered that some people had said that they were able to take the bottom off and move the button over. I didn't want to do that because I liked the idea of having the feature functional but I started pushing on it a little and realized that taking the bottom cover off really didn't make a difference as it had the same amount of play as when it was on. I noticed it gave a little when I pushed on it with a small screw driver. By moving the screw driver around the whole area and one end to the other, I was able to work the button down so that it sits flush with the bottom now! NO MORE WOBBLE !!! And the button is still fully functional.

So, if you want to fix that wobble, you don't need anything other than a probe and some time and you should be able to just worry the button down so it is flush.

Clever but I never stand mine up. And I'm not the least mechanically inclined.

Well, you probably never stand it up because it wobbles and falls over

No mechanical skills involved here. Just take some thing like a chop stick (I used a small screw driver but wood would have been better to protect the finish probably) and push a little on one side, flip the switch and work the other side and repeat until it is flush with the bottom.

I hope you got the charging issue you mentioned in the other thread worked out.

I'll have to try that out. Thanks for the tip!

Please do and let us know how it worked out for you. I have read so many complaints on this wobble but after 120 some odd views of this thread plus however many views on another thread I posted it in and exactly one person has reported they tried it and he said it "worked a treat".

I've had to post a link to this post a couple of times recently so I'm sending this one back to the top here so others may see it.

So far, every one who has tried this fix has said it works like a charm. This fix will also work for the V2 where unbelievably, Ikonokin still has not corrected this problem.

It's the on/off button on the bottom. Just push it in till its flush. Not the button itself but both sides of the switch. Friend has mine or else I'd show you a pic.

It's not a greatly important fix to do, MVP will still work wonderfully. It's just A little annoying thing innokin refuses to get rid of, like the puff counters.

Yeah I mean I figure it isn't a huge deal but if it's that simple of a fix why not just do it haha

That wobble drove my ADD addled mind insane : ) I was ready to take the whole thing apart just to fix it like the you-tube videos showed. Put a pro-tank or big carto-tank on there and it would almost always fall over. It just drove me crazy watching it wobble. But hey, that's me and it does not effect the function of the unit at all if it sticks out. Just practical use. I like being able to stand it up.

So all you did was take something push one end slide the button to the other position and press on it again?

The button moves that freely in there?

You have to press down on it with a little force but yea, it's about that easy. Please let us know how it worked out for you.

Glad it worked for you. So far every one who has given it a try has had success and no problems noted. This is so easy that I really thought this thread would have about 50 post of people saying they stopped that annoying wobble.

But then again, maybe I'm the only one who was ready to peg my MVP to the table if it went weeble one more time
