Unboxing, First Impressions and 1 week usage details:

I was sent both the MVP box mod as well as the BP Mods Sure RTA for review. I will be doing the review for the Sure RTA another day. The MVP’s box is pretty nice looking. It has that paper sleeve that slides on and off the box. On the sleeve it shows in very big writing MVP. Then it has a picture of the device, shows some features and has the DOVPO branding overtop of a carbon fibre design.
On the right side it has all the different social media’s that Dovpo uses. On the left side, MVP again. On the back it has DOVPO first, then the box contents, next comes a general nicotine warning (Only for adults, keep out of reach of children, as well as listing various health conditions to be cautious with while using nicotine if you have any of them. Also on the back is the Scratch and Check authentication sticker and QR code, UPC code with the device’s colour, and Dovpo’s business address.

After slipping the paper sleeve off the box, you can see DOVPO and MVP written with a glossy black font on a matte black background. Pretty classy looking I have to admit. Inside the box is the Users Manual, a QC slip verifying that it has indeed met DOVPO’s quality assurance standards. Also in the box is, of course, the mod and a USB-C cable. Even though I have a few spare USB-C cables, it’s nice to see one in the box for those who don’t have the spares.

I was looking all over the outside of the mod for the USB-C port and couldn’t find one anywhere! It wasn’t until I took the panel off to put the batteries in that I found it. It’s been tucked away very smartly inside behind the panel, I assume, to keep dust and debris away from it. Love that feature.

I used it purely in Wattage mode. I’ve never tried temperature control before and didn’t have the time to dive into a whole new thing. Hope that’s ok with all of you. But, I did use it with 2 different tanks. First was the Sure RTA by BP Mods. It was sent along with the MVP mod. It worked flawlessly BUT the Sure RTA is very small to be on a box mod of that size. Just my opinion. The mod takes up to a 25mm atomizer without overhang. I don’t have an atomizer that big though, so I couldn’t test that. The Sure RTA is 22mm and the 510 plate was fully covered.
Next I tried it with the Freemax Maxus Solo Subohm tank. I can’t remember it’s dimensions at the moment, but there wasn’t any overhang. The mod fired the tank just as quickly as the Maxus Solo mod did and the flavour and cloud productions was identical as well. I would also like to mention that the 510 pin on the mod is spring loaded. I DID check that!
I used this mod with mainly the Maxus Solo tank as it didn't look hilarious on it. I used it for about a week, give or take a day or 2. I didn't encounter any issues or problems. No software glitches or anything. Everything worked absolutely perfectly.

In conclusion, I recommend this mod to anyone who likes dual 18650 mods and like flashy colours and designs. It wont hold those massive 30mm tanks, but that wasn't it's purpose. It seems to be built to last and was very much fun to use.

I would like to thank DOVPO for sending me this to review. I will add a link to their website where you can find it.
